Neighbors

Ye, I think CRT or critical race theory, has taught a whole generation of B folks to have very low self esteem, and when you have low self esteem, one tends to lash out on others.

When I'm home, I need complete silence, it' the only reason why I'm still here, cause I've been luck up to this point to have very quiet neighbors, I sure hope that luck doesn't change.
But I'm the type I'll move in a heartbeat just to have peace...I can handle just about anything when 'out there' in the world working ect, but when come home, to my own dwelling, that's where and when I heal, and to do so I need absolute peace and quite.

Also, I'm glad I'm not drinking or drunk tonight, or I'd of been done made some noise, as in knocked on door and asked them to turn that crap down.
Not that it's piercing loud, just more like muffling type of loud.
you know, that muffling sound, how music or a turned up TV sounds through walls.
Oh well, wasted evening.
The devil will always figure out a way to destroy your peace and tranquility..

I've outlasted so many of my neighbors, as far as longevity goes.
I've seen decent ones come and go, and terrible ones come and go.

My evaluation is this, no one is normal.
Everyone has quirks, and I've observed this with various neighbors.

When people say 'America is a great nation'...really?
It depends on whom you're living next to, I suppose.

Continued from above, here's what happened.
1. I called the cops this morning after knocking on door one more time, I thought it highly sumicious and out of character for this old woman to have younger, hip-hop/dance hall/pop music blaring over speakers all night long and into the morning.

2. Black cop shows up, knock on front door, then goes around back to glass door, no one responds, music continues to play. They write a report, give me summation, then they leave.

3. Music continues to play, I become more agitated, scenarios run through my mind, I try calling leasing office, no response cause of weekend hours, so I call cops again.

4. Give non emergency dispatcher my summation of the situation again, ect ect
They said they could send another officer out to do another wellness check, ect ect.

5. First officer who came out calls me back and said he contacted womans daughter and that there was no one in the apartment, but that they had a key and would show up sometime today to turn radio off.

I mean how utterly rude (cops just knocked at door again, 3 of them, to make sure all was OK)

Music still on, cop acted surprised, and then said 'She'll be here shortly to turn it down'.

Well I hope so, cause my night and morning have been stolen from me.
and I'm glad I wasn't drunk, so so glad I wasn't drunk or things might of gotten out of hand, my nerves would have been much more rattled and my behavior more rude.

Here's the thing about officers, they can quickly turn on you if you yourself become the 'jerk', and so had I been drunk or drinking, my more brass side might have come out, in which I would or could have turned into their focus instead of the noise below me.

You have to be careful and tactful when dealing with officers.

Anyways, that aside, as of now music still on, which means daughter hasn't arrived to turn it off, but at least now I know it isn't something worse, as in that the woman was robbed, drugged, and that the robbers turned music up to cover their tracks...that did not happened as my mind begin thinking it had...nope, it was just someone turned the volume of the music up load and then left...very very rude.

Now that that whole situation is over, now, maybe I should drink, but nah, why spoil a good dry run.
I've been dry since Thursday, and todays Sunday.
Maybe I'll keep the dry run going, drink some coffee instead.
