At least back during the racism decades, whites, as a whole, had the political and social will to keep people in their place, not anymore, now do to this new 'woke' breed of whites, they've allowed rogue urban thug culture to spread all throughout society.
As a person of color, I'll gladly go back to the 1960's, where at least I could feel safe in the neighborhood I lived in, compared to today.

Why can't more black guys smile, and project happiness like this? Seems old school black males were OK with smiling, or maybe just if from a different stock, or class. Not sure if those bred on the streets could ever be so relaxed. But I just get sick of how black males today or portraid in the media. Rap, and that whole thug culture, totally butchered the image of the black male, in my opinion. I mean, I guess, looking tough, being tough, does have it's place, but it shouldn't dominate who you are all the time...in my opinion.

Moving, as a single, older B male (possibly future podcast)
Moving is already nervracking enough, and it only get's worse as you age.
Actually, when young, younger, moving can be a very exciting endeavor. cause when young, you're whole perspective on life is different, and you still think everyone likes you, and that you're 'cool', so who wouldn't want you as a neighbor.
But as we age, at least for most of us, that optimism about moving is no longer there, especially if a older working class male of color, and or worse yet, considered black.
One thing that comes with age is self awareness, or I should say that comes with maturity, and that is you become aware of how others perceive you or others 'like you' ( )
And as a B male, you begin to learn pretty early on in life that once you leave your youthful core group of friends, of all colors and stripes, well once you leave that circle, you begin to realize you're not really like at all much by strangers, and or society as a whole.
To be continued...

If you're a B male, or even older W male, no one cares that you're feeling suicidal ect, when you're an older male, most want you dead and gone anyways, especially if a older B male.
The only time people pretend to care if you're suicidal is if you're some young white male twink, or some younger white female.
In other words the more soxy you are to others, the more they will be concerned about your mental state, and be all lubby dubby towards you.
But if you're not soxy to others, forget about it, no one cares whether you live or die, other than your family, if lucky enough to have one.(Or if some famous person)

I don't think being a male, especially a B male, means you have to portray yourself as some tough monster all the timeNor do I think, as a male, especially a B male, just cause you want to portray yourself outside of normal stereotype pose or image, does that mean you're gay, or have to have any soxual connotation at all. Admittedly, W males are allowed (even Asian males, as in Oriental Asians) are allowed a wider range of expression without people thinking they're gay. 1. A W male can look cute...no one assumes they're gay. 2. A Asian male can look cute, no one assumes they're gay. 3. But if B, and male, and look cute, everyone and their momma thinks you're gay, now why is that? And to some degree Hispanic males also, who to bear that ultra-macho man burden. When I look in the mirror, or pose for self in a portrait, sorry, but I don't want to see a monster. If other males like looking like Orcs from Lord of the rings, fine....and most of the time I probably look that way...lol. But sometimes I like to force myself to bring out other sides of myself that totally go against society...it's called artistic liberation.
