Born again 'self'

Some one, I won't mention yet, said the usual Christian whatever, and that is

'It's only by the grace of god that I'm able to love you'..

So in other words, outside of some invisible, unseen 'god force', they really don't and aren't capable of loving me, or others, if not for the suggestive power of this invisible diety to 'Love for them'....hmm

Not only hmm, but hogwash.

I was under that spell once also, long ago, until I realized what a crutch it was to my own personal development.

In other words here's how that reads in basic language

'I'm still evil, I've never changed, but this god figure says I really don't have to, rather instead I can simply always hide my true ugliness behind their veil of purity'...hmm

If keen, do you, can you, see why this docterine allows for so many scandals within the church?

Unrepentant people, who have never changed, never actually faced their demons, who as soon as 'not in Christ', their ugly natures flare and people become victims.

I could make a book out of this that would literally change or upset Christendom.

Yes, when you get down to the bare bones of it, they're the 'god' they really want you to serve and be obedient to, it's their 'will' they want you to conform to, their suggestions about 'self' they want you to consider, their blessings or curse, they want you to feel, not Gods but theirs.

So when break away from 'god', it's not the large creator God in the sky you're breaking away from, rather you're breaking away from the religious and or emotional control of another.
