One thing I learned is that 'fat' is actually good for you, your brain, since the brain is like 60% made of fat!
Carbs are what is bad, not 'red meat'...read the above links, articles and videos, we've all been so lied to, just like with the 'c' virus thing, it's all about 'money', not our health, you'll soon learn if a keen type.

11 foods that are good for your 'Liver' www.healthline.com/nutrition/11-foods-for-your-liver No wonder I'm in decent health, cause I'm already eating most of the foods on that 'good for your liver' link. Now don't have to waste money on some scam diet pill type stuff. That aside, look at that diagram above, and next time you get romantic with someone, look at what you're really making 'Love' to, a bunch of guts. And I had no idea the Liver sat that high in the body, just below the lungs. There's sure a lot of vital guts stuffed into such a small area.

Look how complex the body is, anyone who just thinks that such complexity just evoled out of the mud by itself is a dork to me, sorry, but logic tells me that something as complex as the human body didn't just evolve that way by chance, there's a 'designer', not saying that 'designer' or those designers fit the biblical template, in fact they probably do not, but that aside, humans were designed, we didn't just come up from the mud, mud and dirt did not design me, or us, that I'm sure of.

For some reason tonight, I can't get enough of this fruit in a blender slush stuff I make by just tossing lemons and grapefruit and whatever else in blender and drinking it.
About to make some more, if can summon up the will to go make it again.

The Zone doesn't usually highlight women, but these women here are special, just look at them, older, yet still 'hip'...this is what I, or the Zone loves, women who haven't given up.

Been gaining a few pounds lately, hmm
I don't like that, so you know me by now, when something happens that wasn't happening before I always 'reverse engineer' my eating or lifestyle habits.
1. Lately been eating sunflower seeds with lots of flavoring
And that's all I can really think of, the flavoring on sunflower seeds may not seem like much, but if eating bags full over a week, all that artificial flavoring adds up, and who knows what type of inhibitors are in it that maybe block metabolism?
I don't know, just guessing, but can't think of anything else really radically added to diet.
We shall see.
And beer has nothing to do with it, for there was a time that a drank and was skinny as a pipe..why?...cause I didn't eat hardly anything at that time in life.
Weight gain or loss all has to do with food, period.

I broke a newly implemented major rule of mine, and that is I've started adding 'sauce' to food again, and that's a big no no. Why? Cause sauces are like crack cocaine of sugar, sugar in a more concentrated form, but many, including myself, are fooled by it cause we see 'sauce' instead of a maintain of sugar going on food and so feel we're cheating the system, we're not, sauce is simply sugars back door way into your body, and if eating sauce, you'll never lose weight.

Health, I must stop taking my own for granted I've got to stop taking my health for granted, made it through covid so far unscathed, even though worked the whole time, in public ect. I mean you're always going to get some type of cold, headache this or that, people for get that there's still 100's of viruses, germs, bacteria, floating around out there, they didn't go on vacation just cause covid showed up. And I think many people forgot that under covid, I mean like the slightest sneeze or cough..'Oh know I got covid!' As they rushed themselves to Emergency room, which added to the 'numbers'. That aside, I'm still here, still pretty healthy other than my own bad habit of drinking. Drinking effects more than the body, it effects the mind and moral as well...and decision making. When all you want to do is escape from life, reality, in a bottle or can of beer, your priorities change drastically, you end up putting things off that could actually get you ahead in life. And with the holidays coming up, more drinking, not really by me (hopefully), but by the populace at large, as people drink more when off and have leisure time. Is why cutting back as of now, I know that's laughable (to self), but I do think I've had a awakening moment, usually do once or twice a year where you, or I, just stop drinking for a reason that has to be personal. Plus I start seeing other people fall ill, do to not being in shape, others younger than myself. I can only imagine how much better shape I'd be in now had I never ever began drinking. But looking back, some of the times drinking led me to, how it opened me up from being such a stiff, looking back, many of those memories would not be, if not for me drinking or being drunk. I like those memories actually. If sober all the time, there's lots I would of never done or tried, people I would not have spoken to, places I would not have gone. And when alone, have no companion, alcohol becomes your companion. Drinking is fine, if only do it, say on the weekends, but to drink every day after work, or when off during the week, if you do that, it can take over your life. Anyways, I'm still healthy, as such I need to start respecting that health more.

Just got done sort of working out Just got done 'sort of' working out, I say 'sort of', because all I really did was walk around and up and down ball park, but it was needed. Here's what I'm still learning about health and our bodies. 1. If you want to live longer, ya'd (yes I know, 'ya'd' is not a word) If ya want to live longer, ya'd better work out. If you do not work out, your body seems to just age more quickly, things tighten up, ligaments become more stiff, blood vessels and veins seem to shrink, bones become more brittle and so forth. Then add drinking to that, over eating, junk food, smoking, and whatever other vice you have, if don't workout regulalry, you're doomed, we all are, meaning doomed before our natural time comes. 2. You can workout for months, a whole year, yet have 5-20 days of inactivity, slothyness, drunkness, and it can set you back months, but the good news is if have already been working out and in condition, doesn't take long to get back to normal, or 'your' normal health. 3. You never appreciate how finely tuned your body is, all the millions of pieces working together in harmony, until something goes wrong, one piece of that human equipment stops working or becomes defective. -------------------------------------------------------- So far, I've been fairly lucky, fortunate, considering the drinking I've done in the past, but eventually we all have that 'no more' moment. Something has to happen or occur, either externally or internally where we realize 'Wait a minute, I can't keep doing this, I can't keep going down this route of self destruction or else' And in truth, my body has been way better to me than I have been to it.And I kind of feel ashamed of that, if my body were a separate entity and could talk to me, I'd feel really ashamed at how I've neglected it in certain ways over the years, I mean there's no sure signs of that on the outside, but on the inside, yes, I know, and can sometimes feel. And sure that's called aging, but, but, there's other things that have nothing to do with age (I guess not), and more to do with bad health habits, in my case mainly drinking more than I should. Now what is 'more than I should?', that could vary from person to person, for some 2 beers a day is 'more than I should, for others two 4 packs of beer a day is 'more than I should', and for others a half pint of liquor, and 4 beers is 'more than I should', so the 'more than I should' thing varies from person to person. All that being said, exercise is key to health, healthier skin, eyes, hair, feet, legs; healthier heart, brain, bones, ligemants, joints, and more, and a healthier moral. Much more to follow, for as long as I'm alive, health does and will matter.

In shape my azz OK, I finally realized and had to admit today, after doing some laps around rec park ball field, that I'm anything but in shape. I've been fooling myself over the last year, thinking that just by exercising a bit while on breaks at work, then maybe hitting the treadmill every other week for like half a mile, that some how, because not visibly fat fat, that health was still suburb, oh how I was fooling self. Don't get me wrong, I'm not like in bad medical health, but rather at that stage that if I don't make corrections, I could be in the future. Here's how I can tell I've fallen out of shape, slowly but surely 1. Body feels heavy to me. 2. When not exercising, never feel like exercising. When in shape, you always feel like working out or exercising. 3. Can't see myself even jogging non stop around ball field, in the past it would of been a breeze and a joy. 4. When do get blood flowing decently, brain feels more clogged than energized, as in circulations isn't as good as it use to be when in much better athlete type of shape. 5. Even though not drinking for over 10 days now, not dropping weight as quick as use to. And on and on, I'm out of shape, and must do something about it, and not drinking beer anymore is probably the first most important step, but just not drinking beer is not enough, plenty of people who don't drink beer are still plenty fat and out of shape. ---------------------------------------------------------- I'm on a mission now to get back in shape, I want my super tall, lean, collegiate, lanky body back, I miss that body, cause when had that body I just felt over all better, less joint aches, less muscle aches, less everything bad. I want the day to come back where my shorts, certain pants, were to lose on me. It's on, we're getting back into shape, here me body?!

Finally dropped below a certain weight I've been trying to for weeks.
Not drinking as much really allowed that to happen.
It's morning, I feel like blah, but at least can start the day on that happier note.

There are times when I look in the mirror, at my face and at my body, and just feel working out is a complete waste of my time. It's like the time to be fit is just done and over with, I feel at time. And the effort to stay fit, takes so much discipline, I just don't know, as you age that is. And it's not like getting paid to be a athlete. I'm just in one of those moods I guess, just got done working out and still feet fat, bloated, sluggish and heavy. Just in one of those moods.

Bodies telling me to go exercise, even though I drank last night.
That's a good sign actually, cause means once again exercising has become a habit, a good one.
It's cold out, but I need to go on ahead and do it.
