This is why I got used treadmill and other exercise equipment
For evenings like this, when it's cold out, and I've come in, eaten probably more than I should have, yet no way I'm going out in dark to jog, so instead go treadmill a few yards away, weights in back room, cycle machine in front of me.
I'm going to give myself a decent workout here soon, get heart working, blood oxygenated.
Working out is the last thing I feel like doing right now, but must.
It's really not an option, if one wants to live without being plagued with a bunch of medical issues.

To be honest, I'm probably one of the few to mix good and bad habits together in fitness routine
I don't let having a beer or two or three prevent me from working out....nope.
I work out regardless in the home, on treadmill, bicycle machine, weights, and whatever else.
I don't allow a bad habit here and there to prevent me from working out, and the results are favorable.
I look younger than people who don't drink, yet don't work out.
I force body to either get stronger, better, under all conditions or either just die, one or the other.
Don't get me wrong, I don't push myself to pro athlete levels of fitness, although I could, but don't.
I don't cause I just lack that type of motivation right now, but if were getting paid millions to perform, ye sure, but for me, and most others, working out is just a personal feel good type of thing, and health type of thing.
But so far I'm liking the results, it's keeping me young, keeping my posture great, and giving me more endurance throughout the day, not to mention health shakes I make while home.
I mix protein powder with natural made fruit shakes.
Body loves it, I think.
Don't look for excuses to fail.

Why working out at home can be so boring
Plain and simple...cause you have no one to show off to, no audience, no one to impress.
That's why working out at home can seem or feel so bland.
It's much more fun when in a gym, where you can measure yourself against others, impress someone maybe, chat, talk.
But working out at home can just seem like pure torture with no immediate gratification...

No energy today.
Just feel like sleeping.
It's why I'm glad I got home workout equipment, for when energy does come back everything I need to work out is feet, yards away.
Whether that time is now or at 1 am in the morning, it's there, and all those 'there' times add up over a week.

Winter time work outs. This is normally the time many become fat and lazy, and use cold weather as an excuse to not work out...and is why having a home gym is so important this time of the year, as I do now. I have... 1. Bench press 2. Treadmill 3. Bike machine (Pro-Form) discontinued model 4. dip, pull up, push up, sit up all in one station. 5. dumbells And a few other things...everywhere I turn there's a work out station. And I use them. Force self to. Minutes prior to forced work out it feels awful, like torture, but once into it, it feels good. Whether just had a few drinks, or just ate a lot of food, burning off calories just makes you feel better the following day when looking at self in mirror or on scale. So many people just let themselves go this time of the year, are so inactive...big mistake. Many people just socially hibernate when it's cold, and instead indulge in cakes, pies, lots of meat, beer, wine, liquor, and then sleep...and feel just getting up for work is exercise enough. Sadly it's not. Me myself and I, want to stay slim and trim for when spring time roles around. I don't want to age before my time. And oxygenating blood stream helps in ways most can't imagine. As such when I get done typing this...it's time to workout, even though I really don't feel like it at all.

This can be hardest time of the year to work out, especially if one lives in cold region, arctic like region, where back yard is frozen like tundra. Those with home gyms, and motivated to use, have an edge. Another reason why working out in the cold of winter can be not as fun, is cause no one really sees your body. In the winter every ones covered up from head to feet in over sized winter clothing. As such there's no immediate 'Hey look at me, I've been working out', type of gratification. In fact most are so cold, trying to stay warm, they could care the less and just want to get out the weather. So unless one is a member of a large gym, really no one sees you accept you, or family, or significant other. And that's enough for some. But for those who are single, like in nature, being fit usually helps attract a mate. The more in shape one is in, the more likely to attract a mate. Now in modern human society it's a bit different do to all the modern conviences, cars, automation, stores, one can get by now, a female, perfectly well without 'Man strength'. But one thing 'getting by' cannot and doesn't satisfy is need for a companion, need to start a family, the need for love, no amount of technology will take that basic animal/human need away. And so people still workout in order to appeal to others. And of course for health. The minute you get some random compliment on your physic is the minute it all pays off.

Fit for self vs being fit for a Man. Two random examples here of a lady who is fit for self, and another lady who is fit for a Man. Which type of fitness is healthier? Who would win in a marathon, survive in the woods if power went out? Or again, to a man, who would be better under the sheets? One lady is determined to be fit for self, the other lady is determined to be fit for a Man. Now for my own thoughts about the matter I think women who take on exaggerated, often unhealthy, fat in some areas, thin in other, 'man candy' physics, will later on in life regret it, and are the ones who will be plagued with health issues in late 20's, 30's and 40's. And after used up usefulness to 'Man', will simply be discarded, left to deal with health issues do to lack of exercise, eating wrong type of food, and dependent mentality. On the other hand, women who are 'fit for self' benefit long term and short term by keeping body slim and trim, eating right, and not becoming eye candy to strip club type men, who have no intention of long term or short term relationship, men that use and abuse emotionally. Women who are fit for self tend to have healthier view of world, more educated and are able to function much better outside of seedy urban enviroments. Women 'fit for self', avoid places like this and or people who hang out as such. Women 'fit for self' are more socially broad, tend to have a variety of interests, and involved in community events that help others, like volunteer work ect. But women 'fit for a man', not very broad at all socially, and very introverted in that outside of self conceited stage, are like a fish out of water. The only time they really come to life is when a man is heaping them with flattering compliments. 'Ooo girl you have nice this, ooo girl you have nice that', and so forth. These women can't cook, can't fix anything, have no interest in helping society improve in any way shape or form, and plague hospitals with health issues later on in life. And the men they attracted while younger end up liking 'women who are fit for self', later in life, who still have healthy appealing bodies and are just all around more practical beings in which to get along with. Where as the 'show club' 'fit for a man' type woman fizzes out quickly in having social relevance. Whether a male or female, young or old, remember to be fit for self first and foremost, and you will attract the right type of people, instead of eye candy types who only use and abuse your emotions. And eye candy women also use and abuse and take advantage of plenty of men who mistake lust for commitment. These show girl types become very emotionally hard after a while, after being used so many times, they begin to resentmen, males, and only use them for funds, the whole 'gold digger' mentality. This post theme will be continued at later time. .

When you look really good, in an environment where you really shouldn't, others don't know how to accept that.

If you're a male who's soxy, people don't want to acknowledge you until old and withered, and if you're a female who's soxy, people only want to acknowledge you while young.

Workout or dieWorkout or die has always been my montra or saying. May not die in minutes but sure enough the minute one stops working out daily, death begins to accelerate in body. Working out is the only way to counter all the crap, chemicals additives, alcohol, hormones ect one puts in body daily. Of course it's better to just eat natural, but in todays food market that's nearly impossible unless one grows own food. Having a nice ride is nothing, if the person driving it can't even climb 20 flights of stairs in less than 1 minute. Stay in shape and it will be worth more to you than a million dollars.

530 calories burned just walking at 4 mph on treadmill for around 48 minutes or so. So glad I got this treadmill, health is so important, so so important, you loose your health than in this world anyways, what do you have? And I don't let having a sip or two stop me from working out, sometimes I do both at same time. Gotta make working out fun, otherwise won't want to.

Pigging out todayI'm pigging out today and just don't care. Last week was hard and stressful, just now getting into weekend, was to uptight yesterday. Hard to defuse 5 days of stress in one day. So today, who cares...I'm going to enjoy some food, eat it, shove it down, cause this week won't be no easier. And I did workout yesterday (Saturday) and today. I'm thin, in shape...why not.

Having workout equipment in just about every room in quarters allows less excuse to work out when you should.
Right before bed type of workouts, when normally you'd just eat something, or been eating all evening and then go to bed with all those unburned calories.
Because I'm not a professional athlete, workouts can be a pain, and often very un fun.
But during the day it all pays off.
When you walk around cheating age, looking younger than you should, inspite of bad habits, it all pays off.
When others respond to you, do to your fitness, it all pays off.
But while working out alone in quarters, it's hard to remember that sometimes.

About to hit treadmill again today...why not.
When you have it in room, it's just there, no excuse not to use it.
I'll do about 4 laps or so.
Exercising in a smart way really does help you cheat death and bad health, keeps heart strong amongst other things.
Anyways no more delay...let me get this over with.
