Count down before work That dreaded countdown before work, those precious few minutes between freedom and work, or having to head off to work. Let's begin.

Some of the most useless time in the day for me are those minutes or hours before having to go to work.
It's like dead time to me cause it's not enough time to become overly engaged in anything that matters, so you're just awake, doing small get ready for work stuff, trying to squeeze out whatever little personal time, meaningful time you can before you have to head out that door to work and basically become a labor bot.

I almost liken it to being on 'death row', those minutes or hours before getting executed, what do you do?
Well that's how it feels when waiting around before work, what do you do?
It's a gloomy feeling, and if not, than you're lucky enough to enjoy your profession or job or career.

But not everyone is as mismatched with their job or job envirnment as I am, I'll admit that, cause actually there are many who do love what they do, and actually anticipate going to their job.
I suppose years and years ago I may of been one of those types when I was younger and had a different outlook on my own future and life. But now, years later, nah, it's a freagin job where I risk everything, my health, my safety and more, for a freagin pay check...just to stay a few steps in front of poverty and homelessness.

To me one of the suckiest things you can do is wake up to go to work Not sure why we've been conditioned to think waking up to go to work is a good or fun thing. Maybe when younger it is, when still searching for a wife or husband and dating and all. But as you get older, no, unless in a field or career you specifically carved out for self and enjoy, but many are not. It's precisely why in the military they progress you along in rank and job title, cause the military is aware of that phycological issue, and the military knows if you continue to do the same thing over and over again without progessing it'll affect moral. But in the civilian world, nah. Anyways, time to get up and dressed and eventually 'out there'...oh so fun..
