Why do people, regardless of how foul they are here on earth, always tend to believe they're going to Heaven?
With such phrases as 'I'll see you again in heaven'
And or why do people tend to believe, or project their relatives there as well?
I mean isn't that for 'God' to decide who ends up where after death?

Heaven will actually be a terrible place if that's where billions of racists, killers, liars, and religious narcissists all end up.
Billions of people, souls, that when on earth saw no issue with trampling on other people's dignities and rights. Gangsters, mobsters, and on and on, all up there in heaven...they couldn't get along on earth, created mayhem on earth, but somewhere when together in heaven things are going to be heavenly?...hmm

Sometimes I just want to give up, and just feel as though my 'god' is indeed the devil.

The devil, evil, seems so much more larger than me right now.
Sometimes the line between feeling strong and feeling weak and helpless can be so thin.

Sometimes I think each of us are assigned our own devil, that lives in our mind, and makes us forget stuff, lose stuff, ect.

I think you can get to a point, such a low point, where not even the devil wants you, in that even the devil needs you to have influence and power.
Without influence or power, not even the devil has use for you.

The devil, evil, never shows any mercy, whether the literal devil or speaking metaphorically, don't expect any mercy from that side.
Even when you surrender, throw up your hands, evil just doubles down on hardship and mental turmoil.
