Sports Caster Vamps forced to swallow egos today as James Winston of Florida State leads Seminoles to impressive victoryAll or I'd say 95% of all sports casters, AM, Fox radio, ESPN, all or most of them forced to eat words today as James Winston of Florida State puts on impressive victory after all these sportsvamps wrote him off the last two weeks, many suggesting he's a thug, and should be booted off the team and all. I can't stand sportsvamps, square peg geek types who earn a living on the radio doing commentary about athletes. And after a while these sports vamps actually think their opinion matters, or that people see them as being more important than the athletes...wrong!! Athletes are the only reason why people tune into sports radio, to hear scores, everything else is just gossip. These sports vamps, all of them, will deliberately ignore the Florida St game today, just cause it makes them all look so small. But I won't, cause I'm not a sportsvamp. So I'm here to say Way to go Florida State, and way to go James Winston for an outstanding performance and victory today over Wake Forest, final score 43-3, Florida State is now 5-0 and still #1.

JT the Brick is nothing more than a Jim Rome contest winner who treats his callers like they are his employees and they MUST bring something to his crappy late night, graveyard shift show. He has NEVER had a prime time slot that has gotten ratings and thus he's happy to keep his low paid job working overnights from his house in VEgas rather than be replaced by some other low paid hack now making up these worthless "network" shows. To suggest he is "more serious" than other more successful hosts is asinine. Looney does celebrity schtick and JT is still probably doing My Space Mondays and other gimmicky crap. He's lame and lucky to have a job in todays climate, but only does because he'll take whatever they pay him to stay on the air.

Jay Mohrs voice is more aggravating than hearing someone scratch a chalk boardJay Mohrs show has really gone down hill lately, the comedy stuff is getting old, and I'd rather just hear good, solid old fashion sports analyst, stats, and interviews, than to here Jay just go on and on like a clown, with that high shrieking voice that's more annoying than Pee Wee Herman. Never thought I'd start wondering if maybe Jim Rome indeed had a far superior show.

Seattle vs New EnglandSportscasters are denseWhy, many reasons, but one is I just heard one choose Seattle to win Super bowl. That in and of itself isn't 'dense'...but then he stated the reason saying he thinks Patriots will hold Seattle for a while, but then Seattle will pull away at the end by Russelll Wilson putting up Payten Manning type yardage. Wrong!Sorry, but if Seattle wins, it won't be because they pull away from anything, it will be because they'll manage to keep the game close, while wearing out and frustrating the Patriots Defensive line and Tom Brady. It's as if these sportscasters really don't pay attention to the sports they cover, the players they speak about all year, the teams they talk about on the ready, it's as if they're just geeks hired out of college to cover sports yet still lack intellectual capacity to understand what's going on on the field. Seattle doesn't win games by pulling away, Seattle wins game by keeping it close until the endIf Seattle wins this game it will be because their defense kept it close, it won't be because some how Russell Wilson has a Payten Manning type of day.

Leave it to blck sportscasters like Amani Toomer, to keep racially charged terms in the media alive, trying to impress vast 'white' audience as if.. (Former NFL Giants player, now a sportscaster for NBC Sports) 'Well hey, ya'll can't say it but I can and; Why they out der on the field acting like a bunch of thugs ect, at Superbowl?', on and on, refering to Seattle Seahawks scuffling in end zone when they lost the game. As a fan I really don't care what the opinion of whiney sportscasters are, sportscasters aren't what make me watch sports, it's the players and their passion on the field. And Superbowl or no Superbowl I like to see scuffles on the field, the same way people like to see accidents at NASCAR, and or drivers scuffling with each other after accident. But sadly, like most self hating types, Amani T the sportscaster, thinks it's OK for him to refer to excited black football players as 'thuggish', to millions or at least 1000's of listeners, even though most major 'white' sportscasters think long and hard before using that word to describe professional law abiding athletes simply being passionate on the field. It just saddens me that 'whites' always seem to be more self correcting than blacks when it comes to manners, or even using words with racial overtones to them. 'Whites always seem more self correcting than blacks when it comes to using words with racial overtones to them'I never hear Amani assign the word 'thug' to passionate 'white' athletes, but so quick to do so to 'black' athletes. Sorry, but one can get passionate and exited about on field play without being 'thuggish'. I know thuggish, come to the hood and you'll see thuggish, and most thugs don't even have emotion and aren't passionate about anything, instead they walk around like zombies and a lot of self regret and self loathing which they take out on others through violence. A black athlete getting exited and passionate on the field is no different than an English soccer player doing the same, but Amani, like so many others, has been socially trained to refer to passionate black males as 'thugs'. I mean if 'blacks' won't self correct, than why in the hell do 'blacks' expect others to, when 'they' aren't willing to. And then 'whites' subconsciously take their leads from people like Amani and figure 'Well if Amani, the black sportscaster, refers to A-American athletes as thugs, than why can't we?'I'm glad Seattle had enough passion to fight at the end of that games, just shows me how bad they wanted it, had it, were going to get it, accept for odd play call at 1 yard line. As long as you have house slave types like Amani, racial terms will always be justified by the mainstream, cause people like him will always make it OK to use.

Now that sports season is over, dried up for a while, the lull in sports really hi lights how geekish these sports vamps are, how dull they are and how little they add to sports. When there's no outlandish athletes personalities to write about, or no superb performances, the sports babes gabble amongst themselves like turkeys, with nothing interesting to say. As if their going to break out the Dungeons and Dragons board while on the radio and resort back to their true geekish natures.

Dan Patrick, and his show, is off his, their, game latelyDan Patrick and his co hosts, have been off their game lately. Example On Monday morning, instead of discussing NFL news and events from previous day, they'll start talking about college football from Saturday, which is totally out of the minds of most sports radio listeners minds. It's as if Dan Patrick and his show have some kind of side agreement with NFL not to compete with ESPN or something, cause it wasn't always like this. A year ago or so, Dan would jump right into hardcore NFL news, events, replays, and analyst of Sundays games. Now, today, for the last few months, they act as if not a single NFL game was played on Sunday, and sleepily start discussing college games and scores from Saturday! Some things off here, some things occurring behind the scenes, he's obviously been paid to not discuss NFL news, paid off maybe? Their show has gone down, they all sound tired and lazy now, no drive, no grit, just gossip and old stale jokes. Some thing is off here cause this is not the show I remember from years ago, my go to show, not anymore, now it puts me to sleep, their show that is. Wise up or you'll be shoved aside for more octane orientated show... Just like I warned Jay Moore...but was to dense to listen!! Who am I?...nobody and nothing.

Jim Rome is backJim Rome is back, cool, his style is solid, even though was brunt of many jokes by those who thought they could take his place, but in the end Jim Rome is married to radio, and is where he belongs. Back alley sports radio types listen to these three sportscasters... 1. Jim Rome 2. JT the Brick 3. Jay Moore Hardcore sports with personality. And in future post will compare each to the other. Jim Rome is King though...even more so than Dan Patrick, when it comes to just pure back alley sports radio. Jim Rome is the hot rod...Dan Patrick is more like a Jaguar sports car...not all can relate. JT the Brick is like the Mike Tyson of sportscasters...they don't play around...don't call up to JT the brick if you're not solid, he'll verbally punch you in the face...he don't play. Jay Moore...is more like the Joker. linkOr 'Pee Wee Herman'... His weakness is he tries to be to much, comedian, everyone's best friend, ruler and boss... His weakness is that eventually his audience out matures him. You have to mature with audience in this business, can't remain a mild clown forever or audience will move on. And that's where Dan Patrick excels....but some of his Danette's, or whatever, think they're still twink teenagers, or at least one. I don't have time now, but in future posts will give you all a break down of all these sportscasters...their good, their bad and their ugly...stay tuned..

Going back and reading some of this stuff is really like taking a trip back in time, wow, some of it makes me very sad, cause it makes you realize how much 'time' has moved along, keeps on moving along and stops for nothing or no one. There's section in here about Kobe Bryant that I"m thinking about closing and memorializing, it's only two posts, but still, the memories.
The posts were made at the end of his career, when he kept playing while injured.
All that aside, I'm just not really into sports anymore, my hero's are gone, Shaq and Kobe were like the last wave of hero's I had in the NBA, after that it just felt like watching high school basketball.
And the same with the NFL, I've lost interest, I've just out grown it, not do to anything political, I've just lost interest.
Older now and have just lost interest, older than a lot of the stars now, and that just changes how I perceive the game, any sport, I don't know, sports was more enjoyable for me to watch when my hero's were older than me, cause it gave me something to still look forward to.
I have no more hero's now, Trump was kind of my political hero for a while, just cause he was so different and did in politics what MJ did on the court, he dunked on his political opponents, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him do it.

Ahh yes, the sportscasters are back, and they sounded oh so estatic today at the return of the NFL Yes, my sportscasters are back, with their criticism of sports and professional athletes, cool. Notice how 'giggly' and estatic they all sounded today while covering the NFL? No shame in that, I don't blame them for being happy, cause now for the first time in like 6 months, they get to do what paid to do, and that is talk about sports instead of politics. Hip hip hurry! They're back, but so am I, their nimecist, they evaluate sports and well, I evaluate them. They do have skill though, for lets face it, it does take skill to talk for 2-5 hours straight basically about nothing, and to seem enthused about talking about nothing, that takes skill and energy. Just try talking 5 minutes into a mic, about nothing, and you'll see what I mean, your mind will get wore out quickly (to steal a Trump verb). Trump sentence "What they do is incredible, if we did it, our minds would wear out quickly' One day will create a whole section on Trump language and expressions and usage of words. Anyhow, welcome back my girly wirly sportscasters, I'll be listening.

Seattle's WNBA female basketball team won their second title yesterday.
Wow, no mention at all of this in the media, I remember the Super Sonics, but didn't even know Seattle had a female pro basketball team until saw it in obscure headline moments ago.
Way to go Seattle, sad that I don't even know the name of the WNBA team that won the title.

Ye, you don't hear much of anything from news media anymore unless it's stupid politics, that's all the media covers anymore, just round tables bickering back and forth about Trump.
Back in the day, the news media covered it all, plane crashes, burning buildings, investigative reports, corruption, sports and more.
Today the media may as well just have 'Trumps' name stamped on it...what a shame.

Oddly enough sports is become shelter medium again
Oddly enough, I find self turning to sports again more, to escape the lunacy of main stream news, the lunacy of covid hype, the lunacy of politics, the lunacy of it all.
To just hear a football game with no 'message' other than reporting on how the players on the field are playing, is like escape to me and probably others again.
