As above so below
This movie here, wow, kept me riveted to seat or chair or bed, wherever I was watching it from years ago.
Not sure why this movie never seems to get mentioned in any lists of top horror movies or scary movies or even suspenseful movies...cause it should be there.
It has definitely made the Zones list of best scary/horror movies that other pop culture types ignore.

1984 Who hasn't heard of George Orwell's book '1984'? 'Big brother is watching' ect Well I never knew there was a movie also, but there is and I watched it earlier. This movies not so much 'horror' as it is creepy, in that it deals with the very creepy concept of a society where the citizens are all watched and monitored and where free thought is frowned upon and 'thought compliance' encouraged...is that not today? Do not people today get punished for thinking outside the 'box'?. Watch the movie for yourself and you decide. Sucks this movie not available, it's as if those in charge of society now realized how much they were fulfilling the scenes in this movie.

Patient 7
Not sure if one of the best, but for sure one that's very good, yet rarely mentioned in any movie reviews.

Fallen
Oh how quickly this one has been forgotten.
A scary movie that was actually produced right, or properly.

The Dead - 2011
Not only is 'The Dead' one of the best horror movies ever that never seems to get mentioned, but also one of the top 20 all time Zombie movies ever as well.
This one is creepy, and takes place in the interior of Africa.
And also the zombies actually act and behave more like you'd expect zombies to, in that they lack facial expression and the 'drama', or emotions that are pumped into the zombies of many lesser zombie movies.
These zombies act, behave, move, the way zombies in your nightmares would.
I'm watching on Amazon currently, definitely worth checking out.

World War Z
Prio to yesterday, I never new this zombie movie, starring Brad Pitt, even existed, but my gosh, I've never seen zombies and or the infected, unleashed like they are in this movie.
This has got to be one of the most unsettling zombie movies I've ever seen.

Sorry, but Jeepers Creepers, the original from 2001, still one of the best most underated horror movies ever, that never get's mentioned in top 10 lists
What a classic horror/scary movie. Great acting, or lack of, is what makes this movie work so well, even today.

Exeter
OK, sorry, not sure why this Evil Dead type spoof of a Teen slasher horror movie just seems to have slid under the radar, but to me it's worth a watch.

Toy Box
Until a few days ago I never heard of this movie. It's good, it's original, it's very frightening at times, and came out in 2018.
This is what happens when there's so many streaming services that there's no central place to go for newer horror movies, so you end up discovering them years later on Amazon or Freevee (same thing)
But ye, this one here is full of surprises and will give you the chills at times.

The girl with all the gifts
I must say, of all the zombie type movies I've seen, ever, for sure, this one probably has the most interesting twist to it ever. I'm only about 23% into the movie, but my gosh. If you want a thinking person type of zombie or infected movie, than check this one out. I'm currently watching it on Amazon Prime. So far I'm impressed, only cause it's a zombie/infected movie with some good creative writing to it.

The invisible Man
Believe it or not, I just now finally watched this movie all the way through, and it was actually pretty good. The right dose of horror, suspense and humor. I was surprised the way they worked humor into this movie, lot's of slapstick humor, I'd of never suspected that.
It's a solid movie for sure though.
