And I'm sickened by large companies that continue to use over seas people for call centers to help out drivers or others on this side of ocean, that's so dam unfair to Americans who are getting laid of left and right, Coke just laid off a bunch of people, so did Disney, so did Sea World, and so many others are just getting laid off, yet companies like Amazon continue to use people from India for their customer service reps, I find that sickening...not Indians, but the fact that these large American firms sell out the very nation that gave them their start...that gave them enough freedom to start.
I mean you don't see Japanese firms using English speaking American from the heartland to vet calls to other Japenese?
No other country has such traitorist (or however spelled) companies than does America.
Google, FB, all of them hire foreign workers, give them 6 figure salaries while Americas homeless ranks grow, I find it sickening.
And if I were made dictator I'd fix silicon valley literally over night.

Trucking will slowly take your health if you're not careful.
When's the last time any of you have seen a 'fit' driver?
Most drivers look like Rocky's brother in Law in the movie 'Rocky'.
And or now days just foreign, meaning Spanish or Russian or other language speaking.
Which as a result has totally broken up the brotherhood formerly known as 'trucking' or' truckers', now it's fragmented into cultures, and 'class' like the rest of society.
In the past the standard driver was always some rebellious hippie/cowboy Burt Renold's or Clint Eastwood type of 20-30 something rural or even North East white guy...that was the standard, not saying that's good or bad, but it was kind of the standard that kept everyone glued together.
Not anymore, I guess the sons or great sons of those drivers didn't follow in Dads or great Dads footsteps and went to college or tech school or got into 'Union driving' such as UPS ect.
I guess they saw the writing on the wall and bailed.
But ye, your classical custom semi truck type of 'white' driver guy is gone now, for the most part and replaced by inner city 'black guy' or immigrant Hispanic guy or Russian man or ect.
Now no one talks to anyone anymore like the tower of babel.
It's a very lonely profession now unless love being glued to cell phone all the time which most drivers are.
I hate constant cell phone chatter, I sometimes hear conversations and the tripe things people talk about make me gaf.
But maybe that's what being in love is about, I'm not in love so wouldn't know.
But even see guys talking to other guys on the cell phones about tripe stuff.
Anyways, time is calling me, evil time, always calling, always pulling us closer to the end.
Anyone who things 'time' is good is confused.
Gotta run, back soon hopefully.

UPS is selling a large part of their trucking operations to some Canadian company. I also learned that UPS drivers, not all, but many, do earn up to $90.000 a year!! They are union though, and are paid the best in the industry at up and around $38 an hour, and overtime ect. But it's being over worked, is how I heard about their pay...I guess UPS drivers in Jax, FL are tired of being over worked and treated poorly by their Managers..it made the headlines in a online paper/radio station/TV news station...you can read it here.. www.news4jax.com/news/local/2020/08/31/teamsters-in-jacksonville-call-for-end-to-workplace-abuse-at-local-ups-center/ at News 4 Jax. $90,000 a year to drive a truck, deliver freight, but it's taking a toll on many drivers who complain of 6 day work weeks. Even 90 gran won't seem like much if always exhausted and can't plan a life outside of work. Not to mention, many drivers, and people in general, the more they earn the more they spend, so it's as if they're broke cause bills are so high. Take away taxes, add house payment, car payment, hobbits, wife, dog, cat, boat, this and that, and that 90 gran a year can shrink quickly. And again, I couldn't drive for such a company, not now, cause to me 'time is my money'... As you get older you realize earning a big pay check can't add years to your life, nor does it increase quality of life, especially if have to labor for it. It's one thing to receive 90 gran a year on salary, it's another thing to have to 'labor' for that income, hour by grueling hour...it will take a toll on the body after a while. I mean cause once you buy everything you ever wanted, than it just becomes 'labor'..grueling labor, 6 days a week, 10 hour or longer days of grueling labor. You can keep your money, I'll take 'my time'.

Donkeyying truck horn special moment, touched my heart
(Do to no bad words allowed, I guess honking horn sounds to much like a slur, so comes out as 'donkeying'...but should spell 'honk', horn..my gosh)
Everyone wants you to 'Donkey your horn', even adults, it's funny actually, as you drive by and they do the 'horn Donkey' motion with their arm.
Well a few days ago, you know how you see those road side charity car wash details, well as driving down highway, little gal, the smallest one in group, focused on my rig, and was doing the whole 'Donkey your truck horn' arm motion, well while in traffic and other vehicles around you, you can't always Donkey your loud truck horn or other vehicles will think you're Donkeying at them.
In other words it's not always a appropriate time to Donkey your horn, and this was one of those times, for even though I saw this little gal, from way across the roadway, motioning me to Donkey my horn, I couldn't, cause had traffic around me.
But what I did instead was wave...and she waved back, she couldn't of been more than 6-7 years old, but here eyes locked onto me and my rig, so even though I didn't Donkey the horn, I wanted her to know I acknowledged here, and so simply waved, and she waved back, at that moment it's as if time stopped and we were the only two on the planet.
I needed her to know that yes, she did matter, and so waved, and she waved back..and then after that it's as if time restarted, as I drove on by at like 60 mph.
And I hope that moment in time helped that little gals self esteem.
It's moments like that that do make trucking feel worth it at time, not just trucking, but anything 'you' do that can at least help build anothers self esteem.
And now, you know the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey use to say.

This video here highlights how dangerous truck stops can be, many new, inexperienced, improperly trained drivers create a lot of havoc within truck stops

What kind of CDL driver drives full speed into a pile of cars?, one that should not have a CDL
Not just this video, but others show CDL truck drivers plowing full speed into cars and people, some look like they even accellerate...why?
Anyone with a CDL should be trained better than that, and should know to slow down in icy conditions and bad visibility, what were these truck drivers thinking?, were they distracted, asleep at the wheel or just stupid?
Big rigs are dangerous, and with them making so many of them automatic now, it allows people who normally not about to shift or double clutch, to get their CDL, and drive it as if it's a car.
A large truck with payload of 60,000 lbs are more is not a car!
Trucks become deadly weapons if not operated correctly, and in these video I see these dense headed truck drivers over and over again slamming full speed into cars and people.
Also, back in the day drivers all had CB radios, and so could communicate real time alerts to fellow drivers, but these drivers today don't even know what a CB radio is, they're to busy yapping on cell phone with lover or wife or who knows who, thus their minds aren't on the road.
Long ago that would not have happened, cause back in the day drivers had CB radios and listened to them, and paid attention to what was going on, if one driver crashed, he'd of told the other behind him to slow down, obviously these drivers all on their dam cell phones yapping about whatever.
What kind of training did these drivers even receive?
There are other videos more crazy then this one where semi truck after semi truck just continue to drive full speed into accident, no attempt to even brake, it just look sureal.

Another 'Truckers gone mad' video
Driving way to fast for conditions!
Who gave these guys their CDL's!
Trucks are not cars, as angry Highway patrol tweeted in video, and he was right to blame these thick headed truck drivers.
I don't even want to semi truck driving next to me now on the road.

Oddly enough I had a nightmare dream about a driver last night who's truck broke down right in front of mine. Then as they were working on their truck, I lost track of time, and the sky just went dark, pitch black dark, and I was like laying across the seats asleep, but kept wondering were 'that trucker was'...since their large truck right next to mine..(In dream I was in semi truck also)...they were in a white old cabover type truck.
Even though sleeping, well in dream was also sleeping when woke up out of in dream dream sleep, while on back side, reached over to roll up driver side window cause felt something was wrong when while doing that a very ugly 'spirit' thing, it was elongated and white and round, was already inside of vehicle and felt it's evil slither against my body, and that was enough to wake me up, and now writing about it.

Did over 500 miles today
Shift required me to do a bit over 500 miles today, it can take it's toll on your mind.
But you notice a lot about personalities based on the cars they drive.
1. The most aggressive drivers are those who buy Dodge Chargers...on average they drive more aggressively than those who drive Dodge Challengers.
2. Mustang drivers have fast cars, but are usually mellow drivers.
3. Camera drivers have about the same tempermant as Mustang drivers do, in that they have fast sleek cars, lots of power, but those who drive them are usually 'mellow' and drive mellow.
As far as low end sports cars go, I must say for sure and without doubt, those who drive Dodge Chargers and Challengers are the most aggressive, at least on the American made sports cars.
4. Porsche/Corvette drivers, higher end sports cars drivers, tend to be way more mellow and maybe cause those who drive Porsches and Corvettes are usually older and so have less to prove by speeding through traffic.
In general I usually notice the more higher end the sports car, the more mellow the driver is, I guess just the brand of car they're end proves they have nothing to prove.
Another reckless group of drivers are those who drive after market small Japanese import cars, not talking about the rally sport ones of the early 2000's, I'm talking older Nissan, Toyota ect, 2 or 4 door, average cars...but notice those who drive them tend to be wild and reckless which tells me they're very young, as if parents car or something, or just starting off in life and have a lot to prove since driving such average lower end import cars.
And Most of all the other vehicles, from mini vans, to coupes, to Sedan type drivers all pretty much drive the same, and that is mellow.
Oh I forgot the pick up truck brigade types, you have the decked out p/u trucks, then the classic country boy pick up trucks...either way, I notice most of those who drive pick up trucks tend to be a bit more aggressive on the road, and sometimes even reckless, and like to speed and drive fast.
Anyways, just had to get that out of my system since that's all I've been observing all day.

If you don't already have a 'lover', as in a wife or Husband, girlfriend or boyfriend, don't expect to meet any such in the trucking realm
I can't tell you the last time I looked at a trucker and thought to myself 'wow, they're hot', or super fit.
TV truckers, and real life truckers, just aren't the same.
Or even warehouse workers, I know that sounds mean, but today I don't think I saw a single attractive person, just grey dull average looking types, no eye candy at all, that will bum you out after a while.

And mainly foreigners have taking over trucking, regular heartland younger 'white dudes' just aren't attracted to trucking anymore, instead it's mainly Hispanics, Cubans, ect, and if 'White', than they're like Russians and if 'Black' than they're like Haitian or from Africa, but as far as regular heartland type of white and black types in trucking now, they're harder and harder to find.
And if 'white', usually some older post soxual type of male who's lost all sox appeal.
