'We got the Jazz'...wow
Such a smooth flow, back when rap was free, before fanged monsters took over the industry.

I do have connection to 'radio show' on the side'...so I can play whatever...
Or associated with such.
Love resurrecting older classics.

Wow, talk about a 'Super Human' performance.
I feel like a 'sissy' every time I watch this video, in that the nerves it takes to be so 'bold' while on stage, so confident...that period usually only lasts a short while in peoples lives.
And sadly even DMX, gave into _____ and is now former image of past self.
That's why I always say enjoy your 'strong side' while it's there, cause everything eventually fades...

'Welcome to the Ghetto'
Love this smooth flowing rap song, gritty, yet smooth flowing, and so very reality based for it's time, and even today.
That Oakland street reality, from back in the day.
Spent some time in that area actually.

'Death Row, what a brotha know"...I always remember this song for that stand out phrase.
Public enemy, back when rap had a Militant lean to it...oh what happened...said people took over the industry, that's what happened...

I don't know, just kind of like when rappers still kind of seemed like 'men', true artist with something to say.
These days are so gone.
I know some may laugh and say 'What?', when this video made days already gone.
But this was kind of last days of 'big production' videos, songs, by rappers with 'cred'.
Now it just seems most rappers funded by drug money, and street crime, and as such talent missing, sure they may be telling 'their' truth, but the basic raw talent, celebrity talent, just missing in today's rap...according to some.

May already be on here...but so 'youth'...so 'when we all were young' or younger...no fear, and life was grand.
Aging is such a tragedy for the good...

Ultra true old school here
Like the near roots of hip hop here.
So long ago.
When all colors or people launched it, Puerto Ricans, urban whites, blacks and more.
Back when the NE was truly a melting pot.
Oh so miss these days.

Ice T deserves a spot here for sure
Not a rap song, but an old interview on Arseniol Hall show, Ice T was very wise was for his age back then, for any age actually.

I don't think Queen Latifah gets enough respect for how good she actually was back in the day
Like the group 'Heart' of classic rock, Latifah is like the female version of 'Heart' but in the rap world.
