Y.O.U. - Redman/Method Man
This is an old song, yet only hearing it for the first time literally minutes ago.
Think about that, even when famous, so many still don't hear your stuff, now imagine how much harder it is to get your stuff, art, out there if not famous.
That aside, this is a fun tune by they rap duo who've always seemed to enjoy each others company over the years.
They're kind of like the Godzilla and King Kong of Rap.

The last song Cube made, before his style kind of changed to 'studio rap'...but to me this was his last true authentic rap song before the industry changed him
Nothing else really to say.
This was the last time Cube was really real to me.
He's still real, but just saying, after this song, all his stuff started sounded like studio rap.

Hip-hop really told a story back in the day.
In today's rap music, all they do is flash guns, why??
So many of us miss the old, smooth school type of hip hop where adult men acted like men.

Jay-Z, before he went commercial, wow
Rap, hip hop was so beautiful back then.
There was always a beautiful back melody that carried the lyrics.

Me, Myself, and I
This is like way way old classic hip hop, way old, but still worthy to be here.
De La Soul, back when hip hop was a bit or a lot more playful.

Jazz/Rap classi
Back when Jazz/Rap combo was in, but mainly in off beat like college campus scenes.
But still, what a classic, back in the day this song, this genre, was exotic, and still is.
Also, back in the day, rappers actually, or many of them, were in college, pursuing degrees.
They were a very intelligent lot.
Unlike today's street level machine toting types.

It's just a rare moment when Mo def was lose.
Spaced out....feeling the vibe of the Universe.

'Just another day in the neighborhood'...this song right here, is why I'll always be a fan of Queen Latifah. Rest in peace, to all the souls who past away doing the violent 90's era this song was released in, young souls, confused, no guidance, no parents...so many perished fighting, dying, for the only cause they thought life had for them... Props to all the old school warriors...those still here...older, stronger, and hopefully wiser... And she's still the Queen, this song never ages, nor does Queen Latifa?

this is one of the hardest remixes of 'More bounce to the ounce', I've ever heard, wow!
(dilly the dogg version)
Total old school gangsta West coast vibe here in this song, for sure.

Hypocrite?
So many classics that slip past us all, from the past, another great classic hip-hop song from the past, back when lyrics actually mattered.
