We still say grace
Talk about a very odd what I guess I'd classify as religious horror movie.
It's kind of in the same line as 'Carrie'.
This movie definetily kept my attention and has a lot of real life implications.
Religion, or the grip it can have over people, alter peoples perceptions, alter their sense of right and wrong, is very real and dangerous...and this movie brings that out superbly.

Afflicted
Watching this one now, and wondering how a movie that was released back in 2014, that is this good, how did it slip through my scary or horror movie radar?
I mean I even almost erased it from my Amazon movie list, kept seeing it, but had no idea it would be this good. I'm about 80% into the movie, but so far I like it.
Some spoiler comments to follow.
It's one of best _____ movies I've ever seen. It just shows a whole different side of the _____ genre of movies.
And if one were going to ____ ___ _ _____ I think this movie depicts in a more realistic way.
The only thing that annoyed me was the guys friend, he's reactions just didn't seem as a real persons would be.
But then again what scary movie doesn't have some character in it that doesn't make you just want to yell at the screen and say 'Are you hobbitding me!?'
Good movie, definitely worth watching.

House of 9
Watching this now, so far it's a mix of many other movies like it in the past, you can just see how this movie borrowed from so many others.
But if never saw those 'others' , other movies, and only saw this one, it would be OK.
But still not even half way through it yet so don't have a full verdict on it yet.

The thing in the Mist This is actually one worth viewing..kind of more sci fi/horror...but still full of symbolism, back when big star actors were willing to be cast in such type movies. F Lion Gate. And F their copyright BS sh)t. Whether people see it here or on YT what's the freagin difference? And screw Lawyers as well who have greatly complicated life for everyone so people can't simply freagin watch a stupid movie that's years out of date.

Screw Lions Gate, instead I'll watch this movie instead, at least this person isn't all stuck up over copyright and loves it when people see their content, even though a bit odd and different, where's the popcorn?!
I don't care, I just want to watch a movie, any movie with a good guy/gal, or in this case a celibate sissy who is dizzy ect, and a villian and a plot line, and this movie seems to fit that bill.
Begin.

Shadow Puppet
This movie is turning out to be better than I originally thought, so will move to this section of must watch decent horror movies.
But as noted in other section, it did start off a bit feeling predictable, but after that first scene, movie takes you into new places of horror, and has some very chilling scenes to it as the characters start acting more like humans and less like actors.

Carriers - 2009
I really lucked out here, two nights in a row (over the course of 3 days), that actually able to find pick and watch 2 horror/scary movies that are pretty good.
Both are older though, that's what I find ironic is that to find movies where acting and directing was still good, seems have to go back a decade.
Cause now days, with so many streaming channels, studios, just seems the talent pool is really saturated when it comes to talent.
It's like now days these studios will allow anyone to act, that's on the set, just to make up for not being able to hire or afford the 'A' class actors anymore.
That aside, this movie here is good, it's scary, startling and even heart wrenching at times.
they really deal with a lot of different themes in this 'infected' movie which starts off like any other, but then takes a more unique original turn shortly after first scene.

It' near impossible for me to hunt down and find good ole fashion horror/scary movies anymore.
Streaming platforms have so divided movies up, that you'd have to subscribe to all of them to get a few decent watches.
And here's the thing about YouTube, unless pay to have adds removed, you cannot watch movies on YT unless have mouse in hand to mute commercials or skip adds after 5 seconds. As such, you can't doze off to a scary movie on YT.
You can't relax to a scary movie on YT when annoy adds come on where volume louder than movie!
Greed just always in the end, always, repeat, always screws things up.
The simple days of good ole fashion movie viewing are forever gone, do to freagen greed.

Is there an age you get where just no movies scare you anymore?
Or are good scary movies just way more hard to find now since so many different movie platforms, and who has time to search through them all.

I just remember when younger, it didn't take that long to hunt down a scary movie, now days, it's near impossible.

Paranormal Activity, the marked ones I must say, this is the first decently produced scary/horror movie I've seen in quite some time. I do recommend it.

Splinter 2008
Splinter is a decent horror/scary movie, it doesn't get mentioned much on any lists though, it's been all but forgotten about, but can find on Amazon Prime videos.
I'm watching it again, cause it's so dern hard to find scary movies now that are worth watching, so when do finally find one, they're worth watching again after a month or two, if can still find.

Time to try to track down a good ole scary movie, I think I'll role the dice next to 4 streaming channels and see which one I shall watch tonight
1. Amazon = 1 2. Disney = 1 3. Hulu = 3 4. You tube = 3 ----------
Hulu = 4
Youtube = 5
Hmm, OK, I'll hunt down movie on YT...I just don't like the commercials on YT. Always commercials or adds unless go way back to unpopualur black and white movies.

Oh which scary movie shall I go to bed watching tonight?
Last one I watched was Paranormal Activity part 4, the ending was intense.
Many horror movies tend to drag on to long about characters you really have no reason to care about.
