Also, it's easy to become slow and sluggish, regardless of age, is why I often run, when most walk. Most of us totally take for granted the kind of shape athletes are in to do what they do, particularly tennis players. I mean most of us would twist ligimints, pull hamstrings, hyper extend legs, if tried playing against a pro or semi pro or even collegiate or even high school athlete at the top of their game. But nor does it mean once out of school gotta stop being limber and walk as if legs are wooden. Many NBA players play well into their 30's, so do some tennis players, and boxers, it's all about making the body think you still want to live, and be fit. And of course, if work in a warehouse all day, then come home tired, inspiration can be hard to come by, especially when no one else around you seems interested in being in shape. Or when working as receptionist all day, dressed like a nun, in dull corporate environment, when even when do go into work, covered up to look like a corporate nun, where no one sees your fitness gains anyways. It's why when get home, have to shut out that world completely, and create a totally new 'after work' world, where being in shape does matter, where health does matter, happiness and all the rest.

One of the secrets to thick hair, regardless of age or genderOne of the secrets to thick hair, regardless of age and or gender, is simply do no over wash or use chemical shampoos. It's really that simply, and or don't over comb, or bush. My hair grows fasters, thicker, than I could ever imagine now simply because I 1. Rarely wash (I know that sounds gross, but when do, just rinse with water, no soap or shampoo 2. Never comb or brush anymore. Again, I know that sounds bizarre, but it works. Hair grows like jack and the bean stalk now, no more breakage, nothing. When your hair is thick and rich, it makes you feel very young again, cause thick healthy hair is a sign of vitality. You can laugh and ignore these suggestions if you want, but I'm telling you the two main things that make people, both men and women, lose hair, go bald, early in life are 1. To much combing and brushing 2. Chemical shampoos. And Brushes and combs simply rip your hair from your head at it's roots! Again laugh if you want...but remember this 'The Zone is never wrong'...

Something is telling me not to eat meat anymore
Not sure how good meat is for you, after you reach a certain age, but I no longer really have an appetite for meat, any kind of meat, not even chicken as of lately.
And I rarely get sick anymore, rarely ever catch any kind of cold.

When older, don't work out to much, or else
When older, not eating right, maybe drinking, don't workout to much or else could actually damage body and health.
It's one thing to workout a lot when drinking protein drinks, no alcohol ect.
It's another thing when working out yet not replenishing body with proper nutrients.
As adult, 2-3 good workouts is all you really need per week, unless professional athlete.
But if average Joe or Jane, working out to much, can actually damage body, wear body out.

I'm sure I'll pay for this in weight gain, maybe even nightmares, lol. I don't like the feeling of stuffed stomach and rarely if ever do that anymore, especially before bed, but tonight I did (woh is me) Oh well, it's done. Forgive me food 'god'... I was just feeling a bit down tonight and needed to stuff gut to feel better. Sorry.

Looking good and fit in bland environment
You look good, are in shape, but people around you could all but care the less.
Maybe blue collar types who are to caught up in job to notice you, compliment you, ever.
Either way, can be frustrating when in your mind, look better than or as good as, movie stars, (while 'you', not wearing make up, m/f)...yet no compliments, ever.
People live for feed back, we're 'social' creatures, any one who denies that isn't being honest.
So when one looks good, yet never complimented, can become bothering after a while, can feel like wasting time in 'said' environment.
My advice, regardless of other peoples reaction or lack of to your being in shape, continue to stay in shape for self.
Being in shape, stunning, beautiful, handsome, in the heartland can sometimes be frustrating, in that there's never no one around to 'take note' and promote you in a healthy honorable way.
Who want's to grow old, past their prime, while never being recognized for being stunning?
(if really are)
But it happens.
In closing, I myself stay in shape, stay healthy, cause if you don't you'll die, I'll die.
You're own body can tell how you feel about yourself.
Love yourself, and your body will love you back.
Eat right, workout, no matter how boring, and one day your moment will come...if not you wouldn't be reading this right now.
And if not in shape, than darn it get in shape...to be continued.

Losing motivation to workout
For about the last 3 weeks, just been losing motivation to workout, and when I do, the sessions are getting shorter and shorter.
I still like the results, obviously, but mind just not into it right now, workouts now seem more like torture than ever, it's like it doesn't matter, at the moment, and that no one cares, but of course I do know it matters for basic health.
I love being fit, but outside of self, just seems in my current environment at work, where I live, no one really cares.
I don't live in a fitness crazed area, you know, where you see people jogging with their dogs, riding bikes, walking around in yoga pants, none of that, instead where I stay everyone is stiffed faced urban blue collar types.
As such, even though in shape, it just doesn't seem to matter, it's like trying to stay in shape in a drab Russian industrial town, as a comparison.
And the males that are in shape dress like thugs, rather than sophisticated beach goers.
And the women who are in shape dress more like hookers, rather than 'Fitness Magazine' types, and only in shape cause young, rather than do to working out.
I live, work, in environment where being soxy and stellar just doesn't resonate with common people.
Oh well, maybe one day it'll all pay off.

Certain foods, things we orally consume, body tells me to stay away from as age
There are certain foods, things, we ingest, that as I age, body tells me to stay away from or else.
And oddly enough, mainly when 'drunk' or recovering from being 'drunk' or drinking...I know that sounds odd in that drinking isn't good for you, but that aside, stay away from following if want to live longer healthier life.
Death foods
1. Cooking oil, gross, not sure why we use this, animals sure do not, and when drunk, or have hang over, your body is blatantly honest about the type of stuff that will make you vomit and shouldn't eat at all.
2. Barbeque foods, grilling with barbeque sauce, grilled meat, yuk, not so much the meat, but rather the altered chemical state of sauce when grilled.
When upstairs drunk, or recovering from drinking, the smell of Barbeque on the grill below by neighbor makes me nauseated and want to puke, it's toxic to the body.
3. Basically all artificial oils and grease, and sauces, the stuff in these are death.
4. Salt, sodium, sugar.
All this stuff makes me want to vomit when drunk or recovering from being drunk.
The older I get, the more raw or steamed vegtables agree with stomach.
Thick oils and grease, not so much, artificial sauces, not so much.
Cooking is great, if cooked with as little oils and grease as possible.

The machinery of health that will keep bodies immunes system up and running is exercise, nothing beats exercising
I've got the sniffles, allergy type sniffles, for the first time in years, why? do to lack of exercise, which has declined in life about 80% over last 3 months are so.
When this thread was 'younger', I'd always wake up on weekends and go job around park, and even after work on weekdays, I was a workout (at least cardio) junky, now, not so much.
And when worked out never got sick, now have the sniffles, working out kept immunse system working well, still works well, but now have come down to every one else's level of being vulnerable to 'colds'.
And when I worked out at least 3-4 times a week, could drink beer, ect, and had no effect, cause was in such good shape.
Now, after now working out so much over last 3-4 months, not so much, what I drink, eat, effects body more.
I can get the 'super immune' back again, but it'll require 'working out' more again...and that easier said than done in that when not 'motivated', working out, just thinking about it, when you get home from job, can really be a big turn off.
But realize now if want to stay healthy, build immune back up, will have to find motivation some how, some way, cause I certainly don't want to start getting 'colds' again, they totally mess up your weekends.

I'm alive today because
I'm alive today because
1. Stopped eating or adding sugar to food or drinks or anything
2. Exercise
3. Eat home cooked food instead of fast food, when can...
4. Not full fledged vegetarian, but meat about 10% of diet or less, changes from week to week...
In other words rarely eat whole meat, as in steak, ext...
Still alive cause rarely eat candy, sweets.
Still alive cause avoid store bought sugary drinks, 95% of the time.
Still alive cause although drink, from time to time, do not do 'drugs'...
Other than that, not sure why still alive...

Co-workers who think you move 'fast' and or 'scurry' simply to impress your company or boss, are very hyper dense, and no nothing about staying fitWhen I'm at work, I move fast and scurry around a lot (at least compared to others)...why? I scurry around at work, while on 'yard', cause I simply know the value of being fit, and if I can job 100 feet vs a slow walk, the jog has a more profound benefit to my over all good health, and if string enough of those short jogs together, throughout work day, you've already gotten your workout in, your cardio in, strengthened your legs, coordination, and more. Only people who workout understand this, whether white collar or blue collar type of work done. Just because one does blue collar, manual labor type work does not mean work in and of itself will keep that person fit, not even, and is why most blue collar workers, from construction, to plumbers to truck drivers to ect, look unfit. Remember, you're job is not what keeps you fit, rather being fit is what makes your job easier, and life easier. It's why even if work at factory, trucking company, welding shop, so many people 'slump' around, even though doing blue collar type work. You observe bad body posture and more, people look, and walk, aged before their time. I'm glad I still move like I'm super young and agile, and to bad if it rubs some the wrong way, cause I'm sure when get older, then for real I'll be walking stiff, and slumped, not cause I want to but cause by then I'll have to do to old age and sore joints, but until that time arrives, as long as able to enjoy benefits of being fit, I'll take it. And again I 'scurry' around at work for 'me', my own health, not for the boss or company, but for my own benefit.

Why leg strength is so important as you ageLately I've been prioritizing me legs, during short workouts, in that when work all day, use legs, one begins to see and feel how important leg health is, in that the healthier the legs, the more conditioned, than the easier day goes by. I notice with myself, that when legs are fit and conditioned, it's like 'floating', rather than 'scraping', in that it feels like joints within legs, ankles, are scraping, and not lubed. I've noticed when muscles in legs are conditioned, built up, the muscles keep all parts aligned, and away from one another, but when muscles are in decline, everything seems to 'scrape', and thus ache, when you walk. And actually to me, I observe with self that walking is more harmful than jogging, in that when I jog 20, it's less stressful on joints than walking 20 feet (that may only be me though) When I walk, it's like 'clank, clank, clank', but when I jog it's like 'bouncy ball, bouncy ball, bouncy ball'... Bottom line, stay fit and make yourself happier throughout the day, later

If have hardwood or marble or other 'hard flooring'
If have hardwood, marble, tile, or other hard flooring inside of place, than jogging indoors can be an option...maybe will make a video of one day.
Even carpet would work, I suppose, yes, you can jog indoors, other than here, you've never heard that before....so many originals here...the original gift that keeps on giving...
But particularly if have marble or tile floors, jogging inside could be fun...
(sadly images can't be shared anymore like in the past, cause people are dorks) (shared images generate interest, but most dorky types don't realize that)
People, whatever images I load online, if want to share, I appreciate you sharing, I"m not some dork type who wants to hoard my art or photos...share till hearts content, is the way I see it. That way when long and gone I live on through my shared art.
Anyways, back to jogging inside...really does make sense, as long as don't disturb person living below you if happen to live in an apartment...

Sometimes I think human being were created in the image of 'demons' rather than 'God', if you stop and really think about how most people behave. People aren't really nice, rather 'laws' are.
