How you interpret Friday or Fridays will definitely change as you age



If under 30, maybe 35, than you probably still relate to Fridays as the above gif suggests; parties, friends, lights and glamour, dating and more.

But if over 35-40, not so much.

And or if wealthy, if wealthy and never have to labor for your income, than Friday nights are probably special all the time, when have money, and lots of it, every day can be like a Friday night followed by the weekend.

But if a working class, laboring type, usually by the time you're 30, the 'party' is out of you, has been flushed out by paying bills, or raising family and thus Friday nights more resemble this.



Yes, mundane 9-5 or even 11-7 or whatever shift you work, can turn one into a couch potato quickly.
It's one reason why I like the fact that now I have a predictable schedule, but if have to work Saturday, than what's the point of feeling good on Friday?

Me, I don't know, Fridays are still special, since don't have to work on Saturday or Sunday, but, they're special, to me, only cause it's a time to retreat from the world, the streets, the chaos, not to go out into it, which tells you I don't have much of a social life at the moment.

Not only that, but when get older and if still single, and everyone in your age group is married or paired, than there's really no one to hang out with.

Truth is, married couples or even dating/living together couples do not like it when their 'other', goes out with a single friend, married or paired friend, yes, they're OK with that, but if Husband or Wife finds out their partner is going out with their single friend, they tend to react negatively to that.

So if single and above the age of say, 35, good luck finding some other person, 'wild like you', to find to run around with babe or dude chasing.

So some end up joining societies or clubs, in order to get out and be around others without it officially being a 'date scene'....when younger I'd even go to Friday night bible study, yuk, obviously that didn't work out.

Yep, it's Friday, a no thrills day for me, why? Cause I have to work tomorrow, that's why.

Normally I work today, and am off tomorrow, but sometimes they switch it up, but Friday's aren't really Friday's if have to work the following morning.
Maybe when younger, it didn't matter so much, heck, when younger a Tuesday could be like a Friday as long as with fun friends.

Me, tonight, this evening, I may as well be at a morgue or something, no thrill Friday night for me.

It's Friday evening, man if I had friends and a decent car, I'd go hang out somewhere, go have fun, but, but, that's not the case here, darn.

Darn darn darn.

what a waste of soxy energy.

It's Friday



It's Friday, and I didn't have to work today, and of all things, I'm mainly surprised I didn't drink, cause today had 'drink' written all over it, the way the day was set up, the way my mood has been, but I resisted cause getting fit, staying fit, is more of a priority of mine right now.

But I never say never, cause as soon as you get cocky is when you cave, but today I did win that battle.

I mean once you see how much better you start to look, when you stop drinking, and how much more steady your energy stream is, and how your confidence goes up, it's hard to go back to drinking just to drink.

And I can't even remember the last time I drank socially.

Once, a few years ago, company I worked for 'Tristar' or something, did have a public gathering at a game center, and alcohol was served, but I refused, cause it made no sense for me to drink around others, cause the who'll reason I drink is to quelch lonliness. Well if I'm around others why would I need to drink? , is how I see it.

However, years ago I would go to this one club called 'The Metro', and drink publically there, some of the most fun times I ever had, considering I never drank publically before that, and not after either.

I just stopped going out about 3-4 years ago.

And I never go to urban type clubs, way to much testorone and booty shaking loving type of males, just not into that scene at all.
I like hip-hop privately, as music, at times, but I'd never go to a public club that catered to that crowd.

Anyways it's Friday, Friday evening, and have to work tomorrow, the next 2 days actually, long days.

If I had worked today, than tomorrow would be my Friday, but instead tomorrow is my Thursday.

Oh well, so goes the wheel of mundane life.

It's Friday, I'm off from work, but have to work tomorrow, so today may as well be Sunday night.
I have about an hour to do whatever before I hit the sack.

Not much went on today in my life, nothing really to note.
One the way home did kind of have a 'road rage' moment, where someone tailgating me on a side road, and well I got so irratated that I pulled to the left, hoping they'd speed up and pass, but they didn't, I think they thought I was crazy and was going to shoot them, cause they would not pass, so I sped up again, got back in my lane and nothing happened after that, but maybe they learned a lesson, and that lesson is don't be tailgating people that close at night, cause some people get paranoid when another car that close up on them.

And what if I had been a gangster, a paranoid gangster?

That's why I never tailgate anyone, cause you never know what you might trigger inside of them.

It's Friday

It's Friday, I worked today, have to work tomorrow as well, as such will probably grab one more snack, then call it a night.
It's going to be a long day tomorrow, and rest, a rested mind and body, is so important for health and endurance, and I need both, especially as i get up in age.

Blue collar people who labor, really have to pay attention to their health, cause if can't labor, than really can't do nothing else, aren't trained in anything else.

That aside, it's Friday, nothing to see here, just a tired, average labor class chump about to go to bed while watching a movie on Amazon.

Out of town right now.
In hotel room.
Feelings are mixed.
2 more full days here.
In Pullman right now.
A small town that's clean and relatively safe.
No thugs, no crime, no rift raft.
It's actually where I was raised.
