Nap time Nap time. Everyone needs to take a nap, from time to time. Naps help reset our energy level. Even older people need naps. And only 'you', know when you need one, unlike nightly sleep, nap times are based on your own or daily unique use of energy and health and other factors. With that being said, it's nap time thoughts to follow.

Sometimes if I wake up to early, say at 5-6 am, I have to take a nap at around 9 am, like a miniature booster sleep, 15-30 minutes, then I'm fine again, but can only do that when not working.
Work forces people to stay awake when actually they should be napping, is why I think and observe, some people age prematurely cause they're not taking nap breaks during the day.

About that time of the day, where have been up since the crack of dawn, doing mainly mental stuff, just got back from exercising in the park, and so if want sustained energy, it's about that time to just lay back and take either a full blown sleep nap, or just lay back for about 20 doing absolutely nothing other than maybe staring at some streaming movie, if tired and drift off, cool, if not, cool, either way I'll be refreshed.

Just waking up, getting up, from my evening nap, after meal nap. Naps are very important if want longevity during the day. The older I get the less impressed I am with those who claim and brag about working 16 hours a day, sucks to be them. I could see doing that maybe for short periods of one life if say trying to start a business of their own, but to work that many hours for another person, why? I'm not giving my health away to no one or no company, especially if that person or company isn't going to make me a millionaire for my efforts. I no longer need a simple pat on the head for being a good worker, I need no more 'atta boys', what I need is wealth, and if not going to make me wealthy from my hard work than I need my health, for being poor isn't easy. In fact it's harder to be poor than to be rich, the more poor you are the better your health must be in order to survive.

Big cats in the wild sleep for like 20 hours a day, yet man expected to just stay awake for 18 + hours in a row. Not me, I need a nap.

I wake up, squirm around, and then after waking up, being awake and squirming around for a bit, I take a nap, or go back to bed, before really waking and getting up a bit later.
