The thing about being working class poor when it comes to healtcare
1. Our bodies are natural doctors, our cells, and immune system are nurses and doctors and advisors ect, all we have to do is listen.
that being said, most of the time if we'd just listen to our bodies, we wouldn't have to go to the doctor, the way we've been conditioned to.
Yes of course there's exeption as in trauma injuries, terminal illnesses like cancer and other genetic type almaties.
But even those, in the past, weren't treated by doctors but rather treated by 'Witch Doctors' or your family or village.
Back in the day everyone knew first-aid, and basic stuff about health remedies, I mean people had no choice back in the day.
Point I'm getting at is often when sick, and have no health insurance, poor people just wait it out, eat right, sleep right, and their bodies heal them naturally. Not saying that happens all the time, especially as we age, but more times than not we do run off to the doctors office way to quick, get charged a bill, when our bodies would of healed anyways in just a few more days.
Most are just trained by society to rush off to the doctor at the slightest ailment...not me, I dread going to the doctor, and will only go as last result as in if ailment effecting my ability to function on the job or at home, then I'll go, even then I have to be in serious pain or half dead.
Why?
Cause not trying to spend 1000's on drugs, medication, where as body would of healed self anyhow, and if body can't heal self, than maybe at my age, it's just time to go.
I mean life is hard enough getting older and living month to month, how much worse if go to doctor, you spend all your savings on medications, now you're older, broke, and still sickly (is why so many homeless out there)
If I'm going to die in a year or two, I'd just rather keep my money and die in relative comfort, with roof over my head, rather than behind a alley next to dumpster cause medical industry took all my money.

I probably should look into some kind of Health Insurance though, just to cover self in case, I was in the Navy, but have yet to use any Veteran care facility, I heard those places can be very sluggish.
It just sucks being poor, lets face, not so much when younger, but when older, more tired, not as much fight left in ya, then yes, it sucks being poor....I don't care what any Pastor says.
I see plenty of people who probably trusted in 'Jesus' when younger, who are now homeless and spiritually broke.

It just seems when working class poor, two things always go wrong when you finally save a bit of money up.
1. Your car
2. Your health
Both of which can wipe out 3,000 grand or more in a heartbeat.
It just never seems to fail.

I just think doctors are overrated, I mean I can pretty much research everything they can about 'health'.
Doctors simply have access to or I should say are the pipeline to 'drugs', that's really the only advantage they have or have been given.
Only specialty doctors are really worth their salt, as in surgeons, like brain surgeons, and or trauma repair surgeons, now ye, they're for sure worth their salt.

I listen to the radio a lot, and scroll through a lot of those financial shows, which bore the death out of most, unless have money.
Well heard today that most well to do couples think having 1 million dollars saved up is when they can retire.
Good for them, cause your average person on the street today working a average type job is lucky to have 2,000 dollars saved up in their 40's, let alone 1 million.
Old age sure isn't going to be fun if have to still live check to check, and if all social security covers is basically nothing.
800 a month for social security?...what's that these days?, partial rent?

Even though poor, I've been spending like mad lately, not on life changing items, but on small stuff that adds up, like shoes,...heck, can't even remember what else I've bought, what a waste.
Shoes, polish, hangers, show wax brushes, vasaline, and other silly small stuff.
Groceries.
I don't need all those groceries, I hardly eat anymore, what was I thinking.
Just wasting money as of late, so what, so does everyone else.
Get tired of always living like I'm some share cropper living on a farm in the 1950's.

Being poor means you're basically a human mule your whole life Yep, being poor basically means you're other peoples mule, your whole entire life. Anyways, time to get up and go be some one's mule for the day.

The most evil deed, or evil fiscal deed of the month is done, and that is paying rent, and now that that evil deed is done, it's time to go exercise a bit.

Bill paying can be a devistating time of the month, when poor Bill paying sucks when poor. It's like you're being robbed of your life's energy. But mainly rent is what just sucks all the air out of you and just seems wicked. This idea that we have to forever pay, to have a spot on the earth, is obscene, I don't care what others say. Rent is obscene!! No other animals have to pay, just to 'live' in a spot. Nor did many indigenious people, before the Western powers arrived. If you saw a place you wanted to live, you just built a cabin or TP or whatever, not just in the Americas, but in Africa, Europe, ect. The spread of the industrialized west changed everything, greed became god, labor was needed, people rounded up and taken off land, put into plantations or housing projects where told 'you must now labor for pennies'. What a travesty. Now look. It's not all bad though, modernization has yielded some good stuff, for sure, but greed continues to make life harder on people than it has to be, so that rich shareholders can gloat about how much money they have? But ye, rent is devistating, you see your checking account start to grow until rent is due, then you see that big dip, how depressing, if people didn't have to pay rent all our lives, we could all retire a decade earlier and live off our own money.

The worst thing about being poor is having to live around or next to types you totally wouldn't if didn't have to. Being poor is torture, mainly for that reason alone. This is still true also. Being income poor means you have to live around and next to others you'd rather not. It's not 'money' persay that most people want or love, rather it's the fact that with money comes more options.

I got two vehicles, and both have over 100,000 miles on them, and one of them some 'light' keeps coming on, not sure what it is, looked at manual, but book doesn't really help..book should say 'if light is red, it means this'..but it doesn't.
It may be transmission over heating light, if so will add transmission fluid to it when off, and maybe drive other vehicle to work tomorrow, it's why I got two vehicles so that if one goes out, needs work, I have another...they're both paid for, and used.

I don't get how so many are brainwashed into thinking they need to make 600 or 500 a dollar auto payments on a new car...why?
I told the dealer to pound sand when they told me how much it would be, and told them 'it's only a car'. And drove off in my used one.
If I was paying 600 dollars a month for a vehicle, I'd for sure be in a worse mood right now...
But you never know, maybe if had new car I'd get out more which could open up more opportunities to me, you just never know when it comes to fate.

And here's the thing about me, I'm to rebellious to work more and kill body, and moral, just to keep up with rising prices. I just spend less, or find other means of income, or try to, rather than kill body, mind and soul, trying to keep up with higher prices...the lazy wealthy class doesn't have to do that so why the F should I.
