Time to prepare fruit lunch for tomorrow
I always try to prepare like butter container sized container full of fruit lunch when have to work, usually 2.
One filled with various fruit, the other filled mainly with grapefruit and citrus (oranges)
Even though I drink beer, I notice if, when, have otherwise healthy diet, the beer is not as destructive to you than say if you drank beer and also had a bad diet.

Corporate America, big industry and it's greed mean absolutely nothing to me anymore, if it ever did at all. I work hard, just to see billions and billions of our tax dollars shipped overseas, shipped here, shipped there, but never to us, the people. I'm not some brainwashed talk radio conservative who believes hard work pays off anymore....most people who say that don't work in the trenches. Only multi millionaire talk radio hosts tell you working harder, for less, is virtuous, ye, OK..  |

I think I'd rather take my health with me into old or older age, than wealth.
If had to decide, I'd rather have my health than wealth.

Went to see how much a brake job would cost, and hell no, I'm not paying from 3-400 per axle, not now, not on a vehicle I only drive maybe once a week, and less than 20 miles a month.
What a rip off, Midas, Brakes for Less, all of them, they over charge, in my opinion.
Then they 'inspect', and of course they're going to find all sorts of other things that are wrong, and try their best to scare you if you don't 'get this or get that'.
Who's got time for that crap, who's got the money for that crap, and then they, or one place I went to 'Oh, but if apply for our credit card you get a discount'...screw that.
They train their cashiers and technicians well on how to be salesmen, to always squeeze more out of you than you have.
Yes, they have to eat also, but dang, maybe I'll learn how to do brakes myself.

Now there are women who do understand mechanics, but they're usually white or Hispanic, but urban women, nah. |

I just paid rent and want to vomit.🤮
Sometimes I don't even know if check will clear or not, if it doesn't, so what...it would take months to get evicted do to lack of funds...but luckily that hasn't happened yet.
I'm just not the type to always check my checking account balance, either way I'm working class poor, no matter how many times I look at balance, so why stress over it.
The less I look at my checking account balance, the less I'm reminded of how poor I am.

I think the one thing wrecking everyone's future is high rent
Being content is good, it's great, but it's hard to be content when your damn rent keeps going up, thus you either have to move or get a roommate or work multiple jobs.
Greedy capitalist won't allow you to be content, cause they keep raising the prices on everything, including rent!!

How the heck does the head of Ford/GM/Chevy or whatever, make 29 million in one year, while the workers struggle to eat??
That just proves that hard work doesn't make you rich, rather simply recieving a large salary does.
There's nothing those GM managers do, that justifies that type of money for one individual...pigs.
It's sickening to me how the wealthy exploit and get rich off of other peoples labor, talk about entitlement.

When poor, it's like working for free, cause you work but never ever get ahead, the only time you get ahead is during tax season, if lucky enough to get a keen accountant.
Never use like the retail major tax places like turbo tax, ect, they give you the bare minimum.
I used a private lady for like 2-3 years and got back over 2000 dollars each time, then I followed my cheap azz sisters advice and went to like H and R block and only got back like 120 dollars, 40% of which went towards the cost of the service...never again.

I'm in decent health now, but wow, sometimes I wake up and just wonder how I'm going to make it in the future, cause the reality is, is that we're all just one big or even small, mishap away from nothing.
Just one event can change everything for the worse....and it won't matter what you did 'right' before that...just one event.
I guess it helps when have support, family, a spouse, ect, but when alone, the future can really begin to look scary....very scary.

If I'm going broke, i don't know it and don't really care.
I never, or rarely ever look at my checking account.
I mean, if I'm going to be poor, why stress over it, I mean as long as I can eat and pay rent, what do I care what's in my checking account.

What a long day, what a labor day, but so what, I'm still poor and near broke.
Earning money through physical labor is the least effective/productive way to earn money in 2023, unless maybe apart of some high paying union job.
