Outside of this place, and or other private websites, I really don't use social media anymore, just not sure what it's for anymore...haven't used FB for years, and when did nothing ever happened, never had any friends or followers or likes, I never figured out how to use FB.
And twitter, I may post on there 4 times a week, tops, if that.
(I use to be a twitter junkie years ago before it started going downhill)
Instagram?
I've never used that, and still really don't get what it's for, nor do I follow anyone on it.
I just don't believe in being a 'fan' of another, either you're my real life friend or you're not, is how I relate to people.

Was thinking about rejoining FB, but after reading this...forget about it, more of the same, thought control, quality or content of those still on there, it's just not worth it.
Many legacy social media sites or like the social media sewer now, sad to say, but true.

The twitter files, just go to prove that pretty much all of social media is infested with Government agencies.
It's sickening, but most people probably already knew that.
But it's so controlled now.
It's why all your views just suddenly stopped, or dropped, around 6 years ago, cause of behind the scenes manipulation of things.
Again, it's sickening...social media is not a fair market anymore, the best views, comments, posts, no longer allowed to get out, rather only those posts, views, and comments that are favored by the 'system', are allowed to get out...totally sickening.
Worse yet, those who love to suppress the freedom of others are even more demicable.

In my opinion, social media is very harmful.
It's designed to get you hooked on other peoples approval and or acknowledgement of you, then like a slot machine, how a slot machine lets you win at first, it then starts taking all your money back, but in the case of social media, money = your time, your self esteem, your moods, and more.
Social media in and of itself isn't bad, it's the people behind it who are, who have come in and manipulate the activity on it, reward some, punish others.
It's an ugly place, and is why I like it here, cause there's no games here, one simply posts their thoughts and that's it, no games, no popularity contests, just open honest thoughts, and either people like it or they don't.
Here, there's no approval needed to just be 'you'.

ye, i woke up in a decent mood, then made the mistake of getting on twitter.
I need to get up and out and do something in the real world, but what?
Computers have made many of us socially lazy.
