Maybe I'll go cloth shopping, buying new clothing for self often is a fun activity, and now days you can buy discounted clothing that looks just as good as pricier stuff. --------------------- Yep, I've made up my mind, going to get dressed and then go do some cloth shopping, why not.

Well, I did step out, and boy how good it felt compared to being on cold, social sterile social media. I mean to go out and actually interact with real people, nothing beats that.
I went to a Navy and Army recruitment center just to say hello, and boy did it feel good, the energy was way better than being on social media.
Social media robs people of life, if anything.

I need to start going to the beach (the unpopular one or ones away from crowds and traffic) I need to join some real life social clubs, start taking lessons, music lessons, technological lessons, maybe some paid classes, anything just to engage the real world instead of this socially steril online world.

Social media has turned into a really ugly place now, twitter included. The most gross pictures, videos and news stories are uploaded and shared.
It's like the worst of mankind has accumulated on social media.

I really don't want no part of mankind anymore, and the longer i live, the more I observe, I find it harder to believe that even Jesus would die for humanity...why?
There's nothing so special about 'man' that God couldn't just wipe out and re-create.
We're ugly beings...plain and simple.

Social media, the news, it's all just ugly now. These younger newer journalist are nothing more than social media bred drama mammas.
I'm starting to lose hope in society, before social media, sure people were ugly and foul, but at least didn't have to see it every day or hear about it.

I don't think Elon has made twitter better, just more corporate and elite.
I used to have up to 5 accounts on twitter, back during the the hey days of that place, that's how I built up many of the earlier views on here, but now, now, it's a dead zone, twitter that is.
It's become a site of the elites, the 'blue or golden' check mark, the paid subscription class. That means if on twitter and not paying, of course your tweets aren't going to get out, that way those who are paying will feel they're getting more out of it, and that's understandable.
I only have one last account on twitter now, but only cause related to a show I do.
I'm actually quite sick of social media now, and all the broken promises. Social media is one of the most emptiest, loneliest places on can dwell.
And sorry, but a 'like' here, thumbs up there, short comment left, just doesn't fill any emotional void.
Heck, I can't even link this place to twitter anymore, not personal pages anyways. If try to link a post on here to twitter, it just goes to the generic forum board.
Wow.
As such, I really have no use for twitter anymore, or any other social media as far as that goes. I guess I just never learned how to use it properly to propel self to higher levels. I just never took it that seriously I suppose.

I created a account on 'Patreon' recently, but haven't activated it. I'm just turned off by it all right now, social media that is. Tired of putting hours upon hours into building a site or this or that, just for efforts to be thwarted by low views, not do to lack of talent, but do to algorithms that determine who should be heard and who should be ignored. It's a rigged game now, more so than ever. It's a waste of my emotions.
If I was going to ever meet someone through social media, or prosper from it, I would of done so years ago. Now, it's pretty much like just playing in a sandbox all by myself or yourself.

Social media is dead to me now, twitter is dead to me, sure I'm still on it, but its useless now.
Years ago, when on it, is how I built this place here up, when posts on twitter allowed to be seen by all.
Now days, you're lucky to get a few impression, It's all fkd up now, greedy, pompus, tech types have ruined twitter.
It's no longer social media, it's now someone posts a ugly, nasty, fight video, and people comment. But gone are the days where you actually went on twitter to meet cool people, those days have been gone for around 5 or more years, more like 6,7 or even 8 years, boy how time fly's.

It's near impossible to gain new followers on twitter now days, compared to like 4 years ago, or whenever it started. Twitter, like other such sites, have become really 'monetized', commercialized. Auto bots won't even follow you if you're not deemed to have enough 'target followers' for whatever brand or product. Years ago you could be a unknown on twitter and still within days have 30 followers. Today that's near impossible 1. Devices have changed, most people use twitter on phone apps and that really effects how many interact now days. No more sit down at desk top type of interaction. I think that was the golden era of social media, back when people had to sit down at a desk after work or school, in order to interact. Sitting down in once place makes you think more, longer, about things. Being on the go type of social media is why it feels so shallow now. I mean unless a superstar or brand name (sad that brand names have become superstars within themselves) or simply buy follower (buy bots with fake personalities) or have a large enough pool of real life friends, your followers on twitter just will not grow very fast. Sadly most people just don't care what you have to say unless you're a superstar or brand name or official media outlet. Sad how many have been conditioned like that, to hold the world of 'fake' to such high regards. In my opinion social media was way more interactive when it first came out, and people were amazed at the ability of being able to project thoughts to others, for free, all around the world, country. Back then people really wanted to reach out, really loved meeting 'strangers' online. It gave one a buzz, like 'Wow, I just had a conversation with someone 1000 miles away'It was organic, social media that is, when it first came out, until slowly celebrities and corporations begin seeing the value in it, and also webmasters and or creators of the sites. They to began seeing that they could charge for advertising based on how many people were on the site. People who still blog on social media do so more out of habit now, not results or effects. Kind of like if one smokes, the effect of the nicotine has long wore out, but still smoke out of habit. Forum blogs like this are about extinct to many, but I still love them. This is more of a blog forum, but I love it way more than face book. It's quiet and private until you want people to see what you've written. And you have complete control over your content. Other forms give you a time limit to delete, like after 10 minutes you can't delete. It's all about having control over your content. Social media keeps evolving, who knows what it'll be like tomorrow. A blast from the pastAbove post was made back in 2015, and even seems back then was having the same issues with twitter, wow. Cause in 2015 was saying how the good old days on twitter was in like 2011...wow.

I just deactivated my like last twitter account. That place hasn't gotten better under Elon, it's just gotton more weird.
My view counts, or 'impressions' were like next to nothing, while others were getting hundreds or thousands, for no apparent reason. My twweets were as good as anyone else, either way it felt like phycological abuse. To tweet such good comments and get hardly any impressions, so I just ended my account there under a different name or brand. Good riddens, it's time I start focusing on the real world again anyways.
This place here is different, this place here is more like a quiet library of thoughts and emotions going back nearly a decade.

Twitter turned into a ugly vile place under Ellon M
I mean under Elon
1. You stopped being able to see those whom you followed posts, and instead would always be fed other posts from people you don't know, as if they were Ellons personal friends, and all they'd post was. a. crime videos, crimes mainly showing black urban youth either hurting others or themselves getting hurt.
The videos were very select, or I should say footage, that always showed urban B folks doing the most hiddeous things. I mean how do they get this footage? To me, it's all purposeful, and designed to spread hostility followed by hateful bias.
2. All the 'right' ever posted was transgender or LGBTQ stuff and other sick type of stuff. Transgenders don't post themselves and or share themselves on twitter, yet somehow those on the political right, on twitter, magically seemed to always find footage of drag queens or trans, and post them for millions to see...I mean just makes you wonder if conservatives living some kind oppressed denial attraction to LGBTQ people?
3. People don't have normal casual dialogues anymore on twitter, either they want to fight and argue or disagree with you, or nothing. That's not healthy. Social media has created monsters, in my opinion....of all ages, cause people hide behind keyboard and say whatever.
Either way, that place was becoming toxic, I could feel it, and I'm on who's been using twitter almost since the beginning...I think I jumped in 3-4 years after it was created.
But today's twitter, for sure, isn't what it use to be and it was time for me to bail.
