Same with telegram, what the heck do I need that crap for?
Another waste of my time. I guess my life just isn't exiting enough or illegal enough where I need all this ultra privacy while talking to another. No thanks, I'll pass on telegraham as well.

Just deleted my FB account....again....in that I had one a few years before that...
I had this previous one for a few years, but barely ever used it...I think others were just visiting my profile to gossip, but not really reach out, so screw it, I closed it.
All FB is, is a spy portal, for others to spy on you...that's it.
I'm sick the F of social media, totally useless to me...either call me on the phone in person so I know you're real or shat the F up...is how I see it now going forward.

Social media is really just dying out.
Social media had a second boom during the first Trump term, when You Tube and twitter and FB started banning outspoken right wingers, who then went onto other off the radar sites, and or formed their own sites...like Rumble, etc.
But now even those sites are dying out...the allure of them is gone, what hasn't been said? And there's no more organic growth, it's all controlled by algorithms now. Meaning those in the post who would have organically accumulated 1000's of followers or views, now only get a few dozen views, and a few dozen followers, if that.
The algorithmic machine will not allow people to organically rise up anymore, it's all controlled from behind the scenes, thus people lose interest. Content creators lose interest. Cause why does anyone want to spend hours creating a video, editing, just to get a few dozen views?
Social media has peaked, for the average user, there's just nothing to it anymore, you're just basically writing to yourself. And most just do it now out of habit, or have just become silent content readers or consumers.

And most just do it now out of habit, or have just become silent content readers or consumers. I think the younger types are just more into apps, apps apps and more apps, from small little phones. The younger types didn't grow up on twitter or FB etc.
Legacy media sites are for Gen X types, who were young when all that came out, and have grown old with those social sites, and aren't hip to the newer ways people stay in touch.
Either way, it just gets to be a bit to much after a while, and a waste of time, in my opinion.
