ye, I think the days of social media just being a fun silly place to hang out and post stuff are long gone.
The casual days of social media are for sure gone...at least with like twitter and FB, maybe smaller up and coming sites still have that small town feel to them...but my gosh, these tech guys, they've climbed in bed with the devil and the Government and have practically weaponized social media...satire and humor seems not allowed anymore, just strict adherence to like the new world order or something...I'll figure it out later, time for rest.

Here's what I've learned about twitter and other social sites.
Most people, humans, are reasonable, and like back and forth discussion, regardless of ideology, for interacting with others is a 'rush' for most.
But what happens when communication is shut down, it's usually not do to 'members' (on twitter, ect) but rather the reality of today is that it's usually some foreigner type from India ect, working for twitter who is shutting your communication ability down.
They've taking politics to and extreme level, and what they don't realize is in America, you can be a multi colored type person, meaning favorable or unfavorable issue type.
Example, just because you believe in strong national boarders, doesn't mean you're a Nazi.
In fact could even be a flaming liberal who happens to think strong boarders are important.
But what happens is some foreign activist twitter worker sees that you're not under complete political mind control and so 'shadow bands' you...you can tell when this occurs when responses suddenly stop.
I find it sick, demonic and yogarted when others try to silence you, not cause you're wrong, but cause they simply want to shape you into 'them'...that's gross to me.
On the streets, no big deal, but when these people have control over your ability to communicate with others, it can get annoying.
It's just sad how more and more big tech is taking on the nature of authoritarian regimes classical liberals use to protest against.
Liberalism has been invaded today by a different mentality of authoritarian foreigners who try to govern social media like the repressive Governments of the nations they fled.
How sick is that?

Like so many who were around during twitters inception, it's hard to adapt to other platforms It's a hate love relationship with twitter cause it feels so familuar, but it's nothing like it use to be, it's all political now, I mean it isn't until you disagree with a post. All political thought has to be one way on there, and here's the thing, people can have different political thought but get along in other issues..duh. But on twitter it's like different political thought other than what their staff has is seen as toxic. That aside, there are tons of other social media platforms that attract a wider crowd, I'm sure many have moved on from twitter long ago, I have many times, but then sign back up in a lessor form just to share posts. But like this one here... joinmastodon.org/ Mastodon?, I may try this one and see how it goes. Cause I really need to attract or discover a new crowd of people other than the bots and bitter political paranoid types on twitter, I mean the've deleted so many accounts who knows what's real on there anymore. I mean I hear celebrities say one day they have 100,000 followers then the next day number cut in half... well if they're real followers and still fans of person they're following, why would they all suddenly unfollow over night?? So were they bots? twitter bots, just to make it seem the sight was more popular than it really is, and now staff on twitter just subract bot followers as a form of punishment? It just doesn't add up. Oh well, like I said, I need to try different platforms to discover other mindsets than the typical twitter one where either your hard left or hard right, and that just kills any other discussion, that's not how real life is.

Ye, I guess Mastodon is decentralized and so no one server runs it, and I guess you get on there and can operate solo or create your own mini Mastodon or community...kind of like FB I guess, but without the fear of one central owner or mindset censoring your stuff...cool. But I'm not really into 'groups', I'm to many people on the inside to just fit into just one group, I'd have to like create a group titled 'Shape shifters' or something.

I just checked out Mastodon, and it seems kind of 'dead', You have to like join a group to begin, but activity within those groups it just seems dead...some peoples lasts posts were like weeks ago. That's why I don't like 'group' orientated social sites, cause not everyone functions within groups, not even in real life...and if people don't join your group or follow you, egos get hurt. Look at 'The Zone', yes this platform, going on 8 years new now!!! 8 years!!! Why the longevity?...cause the Zone and other similar boards like it, are self fueled and don't depend on back and forth conversations to spawn ideas and creativity. If I went onto Mastodon, I can already see I'd be the one posting the most, they'd think I were a bot I write so much. But to me, life doesn't stand still ever, so why should your thoughts. I don't know, I may try it just to try it though...but again it just seems kind of dead, like a large hollow Castle, kind of like this place I guess, but on here it's a deliberate effect.

OK, well I joined Manoston or whatever, and I'm like the 'road runner' of typing and responding to peoples posts on there...they're not use to my hyper intellectual speed and mind. I mean I don't play around, so many 'lose ends' on that site, questions unanswered, posts not responded to, I'm like the roadrunner, life is just to short to be intellectually sluggish.

Wore out now after dumping all my thoughts and passion on one person, one exchange
Well this site is real, that's for sure, can get in one on one conversations like how twitter use to be years ago.
I dumped so much one on one energy into one person that now wore out.
I need some rest now.

Social media is just so unfun anymore, I wonder what the next 'round' of fun is going forward?
Real life again?

Social media went from average normal people expressing themselves to now very powerful people controlling who sees what, and what can be expressed.
Who would of ever saw that evolution.
I mean I now hear of celebrities, people with 'means', even the President getting 'banned' or 'temporarily booted' from social media, so I'm like 'who am I then?'
Life is about exploring new ideas, concepts, and questioning old ideas and concepts, in the past, social media allowed that, now it seems it has become a political 'cult' and only certain ideas and mindsets allowed, the humor and fun, social media use to allow, is now all but about gone.
Politics has pretty much destroyed social media.
Oh well, I've always said everything is circular, and I'm sure it's a matter of time before people discover 'real life again'...unless they try to control even that soon as well.

The zone is always real, when serious, and right now the Zone is serious...in that most you encounter on new social media sites are 'bots', Asian spy bots...simply gathering 'info' on you.
Sorry to be so honest and truthful.
The idea that you'll be interacting with some innocent white college aged white person from Iowa, is a pipe dream, now days more than not your interacting with some dude from Pakistan or India or China simply exploiting whatever you share with them.
The Zone is never wrong.

Ye, so sad how now social media sites nothing more than 'state government' spy agencies...you won't hear that anywhere else but here...so sad how weak people are now days.

The most honest thing the 'Zone' can tell you is 'trust no one' unless either meet in person or willing to talk to you on the phone...and even then be careful.
The old school days of actually meeting real people with real personalities are all but about gone...so sad to say that.
