Yes, once again the roommate thing is on me mind I always like using the 3's Company template for that example, or could use 'The Odd Couple' one, they were roommates also. Either way there just comes a time where you get sick of busting your butt for 10-12 hours a day at a job that will never get you rich. And a roommate can really help you cut expenses in half, or they can double the amount of stress you have also. I always say I want a roommate until I start scanning the roommate adds, then I get so turned off by what I read, and the people seeking rooms, it just turns me off, but then again they'd probably be turned off by me if I were seeking a room to rent in another's place. One big mistake people make is they upload very creepy pictures of themselves in roommate adds, no one wants to invite a homely looking person into their home to spend nights together with. People really need to learn how to 'brush up' or 'touch up' their photos before sending. I should offer a service doing that for others. Sure, looks don't matter, but we all know that 'first impressions' most certainly do. Let's review some things... If single, people to probably avoid allowing to move in with you 1. 'New to area' types, what are they running from?, I see that term used way to much, being 'new' to an area doesn't mean 'you're' a decent person, it could just mean you left some mess behind where you left. I'd rather have someone from area, than 'new to area', is what I've learned over the years. 2.'Hi, I'm desperate for a room'.. For sure avoid desperate types, means they're unstable, and if an adult, and 'desperate' for a room, what does that say about them?? I mean if 35, and desperate for a room, what does that say? What does that say about ones past decision making skills?, habits or other. And today, with drug epidemic, you really gotta be careful not opening home up to a drug addict, cause if you do, you're so doomed. 3. Females who look 'hot'...avoid 4. Couples, probably should avoid, cause if things go wrong they'll bonnie and clyde your butt. Pet owners are probably a safe bet, like the guy or gal who owns a cat or dog, or possible even a single parent, if have those type of accomidations, cause usually a person will act more responsible if someone else is depending on them to, like a pet or a mild. But in order to accomidate someone with a pet or a mild, you'd be better off with larger home that could accomidate that, rather than a small stuffy apartment. Either way, I need to try something different. Cause the sooner I save up money, the sooner I can just get out of current situation I'm in and just leave this whole rotten area.

Some roommate victims share who they were victimized by 'Beware of 'Rhoda', the poster says on C/L... jacksonville.craigslist.org/sha/d/beware-of-rhoda/7226831260.html I guess this older, but charming looking lady, will move in with a man, then create 'hostility', then claim 'abuse'...then man get's tossed out of own home 'by law', and then charged with a felony 'by law', and the lady gets to stay in guys house for months, rent free. I guess this lady is known for doing that to stupid men. But in 'hood areas' that wouldn't work, women would simply get beat the whatever up and tossed out. But suburb dense men, trained to be sissies, and so allow this to happen to them. But this is why if a male, you should be extra cautious of attractive females as roommates, cause if a woman is attractive, and doesn't already have a good man taking care of her or taking care of herself, you should be weary when such responds to a add you post for a roommate.

I think women can sniff out weak men, and prey on them like dough boy's. Usually older 'safe neighborhood' 'W' males who think they're gods gift to the world, and who look at women like 'toys' their whole lives, or as dainty flowers. Women love to then come back years later and beat the sh-t out of such older 'W' males fiscally and financially by preying on their stupidity.

I mean think about it, if a older female, who's been to hell and back in life, what is there charming about some older dude other than their money or 'stuff'?
Love...didn't Tina Turner express that in a song, 'What's love got to do with it?'.
The biggest mistake certain men make is to still think that women are impressed with them after the age of 50, especially if just average and ugly looking, balding or no hair, scrappy skin...I mean come on, what's attractive about that to a woman?
You better believe she's going for you 'gold'.
What younger woman would want some grease bucket breathing on them at night?
Please....
Many women have suffered, they have suffered when younger, when they actually did trust men to do the right thing, and instead used and abused.
Now such women out for revenge for any stupid older dude dumb enough to allow them into your 'space'.

I think if I were a older women, I'd use the 'f' out of a older wealthy man myself also, I mean why not, I mean how many men who are now older, when younger, used the heck out of females.
They should now grow old in peace after hurting so many others while in prime?

Sorry folks, the 'female' residents, I mean spirits of the Zone Asylum, are getting a bit ruffled, they tend to have issues with men or males, and seem to be rallying behind 'Rhoda'.
We will now do our best to resume discussion on 'Roommates, the pros and cons.
Let's continue.

Here's how I see it, that or those older 'W' males who thought they were going to prey on Rhoda, or thought she'd be just another 'dame' for them to abuse and use, well she totally turned the tables on them, got them kicked out of own homes, and criminal records to boot.
Now they're old, broke, and worthless, welcome to a females world of heartache.

I will never be roommates with guy with a beard...a guy with a beard can work on my car, fix my plumbing or toilet, but they will not be my roommate, not now or ever.
Unless like 6'9 inches and maybe weighs 340 lbs plus.
Then maybe they could be my roommate...maybe.

About to check email for roommate add I ran yesterday, I already know what I'm going to do ahead of time cause go through this about 3-4 times a year.
1. The responses I get I won't be happy with.
2. Those who did respond will either be 'bots' or out of area, or people who did not bother reading the specifics.
And that's about it, or just odd types, the 'law' seeing if your legit while posing as 'average person', or some criminal type.
I already know none of the responses will be what I want.
Cause think about it, the kind of person I wouldn't mind living with me more than likely already has their life together and doesn't need a room.
I mean sure, things do happen though, like sudden job lay offs and more
But still, why not stay with their friends or family?
Who knows, I guess not everyone has friends or family like we did while in school, I know I certainly don't.
Anyways, going to read email and see what kind of disappointing responses I got.
